Girls Nite Out is an all female, all funny stand-up and improv comedy ensemble featuring CBC darlings, Canadian Comedy Award Winners and Second City alum.
Participants include/have included: Elvira Kurt (CBC, HBO), Lauren Ash (NBC’s “Superstore”), Laurie Elliot (CBC, The Comedy Network), Kristeen von Hagen (Just for Laughs, CBC’s “The Debaters”), Leslie Seiler (The Second City, CBC’s “Because News”), Karen Parker (The Second City), Diana Frances (Vancouver Theatresports, CBC), Ashley Botting (Odd Squad, The Second City, CBC’s “Because News”) and more!
Comedian Elvira Kurt is going to be leading ‘Girls Nite Out’, which sees a cast of Canadian Comedy Award winners, Second City alum and CBC comedy darlings perform stand-up, improv and a talk show that includes the audience, and will leave everyone laughing out loud.

From the inaugural Ice Follies in 2004 to its 10th biennial, this retrospective honors the innovative installations and performances that transformed Lake Nipissing into a canvas of creativity. Showcasing one photograph for every participating artist since the event’s inception, this exhibition reflects Lott’s heartfelt dedication to documenting the magic of Ice Follies and its impact on our community and beyond.
