CCP Little Rainbow Run

Join us for the inaugural Little Rainbow Run! This fun run is designed as a familyfriendly activity that will take place within the main corridor of the PrideFest street closure. All proceeds go towards Capital City Pride’s year-round programming, which benefits members of the LGBTQ+ community, family, and friends.

CCP Service Day at Adventureland Bay

Capital City Pride invites you to join us on Monday, June 12th at Adventureland Bay for a fun-filled day to relax and unwind after a busy PrideFest! This year, Capital City Pride is reserving the 5 Island Cabanas at Adventure Bay.

CCP AIDS Quilt Remembrance

Hoyt Sherman Place

Join Capital City Pride and Hoyt Sherman for the AIDS Quilt display. Six 12’x12’ quilt panels of Iowans will be displayed as a teaching tool to help educate people about HIV/AIDS, its continued impact today, and to remember the 700,000 U.S. lives lost in the four decades since the first cases were reported.

Des Moines Menace Pride Night

June 17 | 7:00 PM | Valley Stadium

June is Pride Month, and the Des Moines Menace are teaming up with Iowa Safe Schooles to raise money and spread awareness! The soccer team will wear special edition Pride jerseys during their match and money raised from sales will be donated to Iowa Safe Schools.
