FROM THE EDITOR. A new season, and a whole host of new things to share with you. Autumn has always been a lovely time of year for me personally. I love waking up to those crisp mornings (hopefully without the rain), bright sunshine and that real sense of the seasons beginning to change. There’s plenty happening for us this autumn too. We’re launching Bruton, a collection of exterior stone that manages to feel rustic and striking all at once, as well as adding new pieces to our bestselling, and now rather iconic, Marlborough Terracotta collection. My role spans both product and creative, which also means I get to be closely involved in our collaborations. We’ve worked on some brilliant ones over the years, but none have felt quite as exciting as our latest with Sanderson. Sanderson is one of those names that feels instantly familiar. There’s so much history and heritage behind the brand, yet the designs continue to feel incredibly relevant. Having the chance to explore their archive and think about how we could bring some of those much-loved prints into our world has been incredibly special.
unmistakably us. We spent a lot of time looking at colour, scale and those little details that can completely change how a print feels on a product. There was plenty of going back and forth, lots of samples, and more than a few conversations about which design we loved most (I’m still not sure we ever agreed). What I really love about the finished collection is that it feels familiar but fresh at the same time. These are beautiful designs with real history behind them, reimagined for pieces that are made to be used, loved and lived with every day. And finally, I do love a good snoop around a beautiful home – especially one that features our stone – so I loved visiting Lydia Millen at home. It’s always so interesting to see how people live with our products and make them completely their own, and Lydia’s home certainly didn’t disappoint. There’s a lot to look forward to this season, and I hope you enjoy discovering it all as much as we’ve enjoyed bringing it together.
For this collection, we wanted to celebrate everything that makes Sanderson so distinctive, while making sure it still felt GROUP BRAND DIRECTOR

Rooted in craftsmanship, creativity and a shared appreciation for enduring design, Ca’ Pietra and Sanderson come together to present a collection that transforms some of Britain’s most beloved decorative motifs into beautiful tiles. There is something captivating about a great pattern. It can evoke a memory, transform the atmosphere of a room and, over time, become

part of the visual language of a home. It is this appreciation for timeless design that brings Ca’ Pietra and Sanderson together for a new collection celebrating the very best of British creativity and craftsmanship. For more than 165 years, Sanderson has been synonymous with quintessential English style. Founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson, the brand has established an international reputation for exceptional fabrics, wallpapers, paints and

trimmings, while becoming custodian of some of Britain’s most recognisable patterns. At the heart of Sanderson lies an extraordinary archive spanning centuries of decorative design. Rich with florals, illustrative botanicals and characterful motifs, it provides a remarkable record of changing tastes while demonstrating the lasting appeal of beautifully considered pattern.

classic.
studio.
The Classic Collection sees much-loved Sanderson florals, botanicals and decorative motifs translated into versatile porcelain tiles. Designed for both walls and floors, the collection combines visual richness with durability, allowing pattern to extend throughout the home and become an integral part of everyday spaces.
The Studio Collection celebrates a more artisanal approach. Made to order in the UK, these decorative ceramic wall tiles are inspired by traditional craftsmanship, with each tile carefully finished and fired to create depth of colour, texture and detail. The result transforms iconic Sanderson designs into statement surfaces that celebrate the beauty and individuality of British tile making.
Together, the two collections offer a new way to live with heritage design. Walls and floors become canvases for storytelling, while motifs with generations of history find a fresh place in the contemporary home. Rich in detail, layered with nostalgia and created to endure, Ca’ Pietra x Sanderson is a celebration of British design – familiar in spirit, yet entirely new in expression.

Behind the designs. ANTHOS. Originally an intricately woven decorative jacquard fabric, this design was inspired by an Uzbekistani suzani, a type of embroidered and decorative tribal textile, from the Sanderson archive.
AESOP’S FABLES. This abundant toile wallpaper features well-loved scenes from Aesop’s Fables and was taken from a design found in Mulhouse, France, dating back to the 19th century. As part of our Studio Collection, Aesop’s Fables has been translated onto individual field tiles, each telling its own whimsical story.

ROSE & PEONY. First launched as a wallpaper in 1914, Rose & Peony was redesigned as a printed fabric in 1929 and released the following year. By the 1960s, it had been produced in twenty-eight colourways to suit changing tastes. It remains one of Sanderson’s most loved designs.

WE MADE OUR MARK AT RHS CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW. we landed a livingetc award. Enso has officially earned its awardwinning stripes, taking home Best Tiles at the Livingetc Style Awards 2026. Proof that a little imperfection can be a very beautiful thing.
We joined forces with leading garden designers at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026, bringing natural stone and decorative surfaces into some of the show’s standout spaces. We worked across several projects this summer, including Tomoko Kawauchi’s design for Nth Degree Clerkenwell, Rebecca Lloyd Jones’ The Transient Garden, and The Hive, a BALI collaboration designed by Matt Evans.
WE DEBATED QUINTESSENTIAL BRITISH DESIGN. At Focus/26, we brought together Sean Symington, Ellie Tyerman of Sanderson Design Group, Michelle Wu of Maybourne Hotel Group and Minnie Kemp of Firmdale Hotels to explore what quintessential British design means today, celebrating heritage, craftsmanship, colour and contemporary creativity alongside the new Sanderson x Ca’ Pietra tile collection.
WE TOOK THE mediterranean TO WOW!HOUSE. For WOW!house 2026 at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, we collaborated with London architecture and interiors studio De Rosee Sa on a transportive bathroom inspired by the faded glamour of Mediterranean seaside hotels. Natural stone, tile and terracotta shaped the cinematic scheme, with our materials bringing warmth, texture and quiet drama to the space.
