Chamber Trends CELEBRATING THE LEADERSHIP CAPE CORAL CLASS OF 2025 T Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral proudly congratulates the The LLeadership Cape Coral Class of 2025 on reaching this exciting milestone. AAfter thirteen weeks of learning, discovery, and connection, this class hhas completed one of our community’s most meaningful leadership eexperiences—joining an alumni network that has helped shape Cape CCoral since the program’s charter year in 1993. LLeadership Cape Coral is designed to give participants a behind-thesscenes look at the people, systems, and services that keep our city Donna S. Germain, thriving. Over the course of the program, the Class of 2025 explored critical IOM, FCCP components of our community—from public safety, education, and President/CEO government to infrastructure, healthcare, and economic development. These sessions aren’t just informative; they’re immersive, offering direct access to local leaders and facilities not typically open to the public. Through every program day, class members strengthened their understanding of Cape Coral’s opportunities and challenges, while building the kind of cross-industry relationships that make longterm civic progress possible. What makes Leadership Cape Coral special is that it doesn’t stop at learning—it pushes toward engagement. The Class of 2025 stepped up with curiosity, professionalism, and a clear commitment to community. They asked thoughtful questions, listened to diverse perspectives, and showed the kind of collaborative spirit that great cities depend on. This program is intentionally structured to foster emerging leaders who are ready to serve, advocate, and innovate—whether in business, nonprofit work, public service, or volunteerism. The Class of 2025 has already demonstrated that they are prepared to do exactly that. With more than 1,000 graduates over the program’s history, Leadership Cape Coral Alumni are known for their lasting impact on our city’s future. The Class of 2025 now takes its place among those who have helped guide Cape Coral forward for more than three decades. We were thrilled to celebrate this class at their graduation on Friday, November 14, 2025, hosted “under the stars” on the Gazebo Lawn at The Westin Cape Coral—a fitting setting for a group that has shined throughout the program. Thank you to the leaders who made it possible Leadership Cape Coral succeeds because of the many community partners who invest time, insight, sponsorship, and mentorship into every class. Each program day is organized and chaired by Leadership alumni who return to share their experience and help raise up the next generation of leaders. To our alumni chairs, speakers, sponsors – LCEC, The Cape Coral Breeze, Waste Pro, The News-Press and The Guardian Angels for Special Populations, and hosts—thank you for your continued dedication to building a stronger Cape Coral. Looking ahead To the Leadership Cape Coral Class of 2025: congratulations on a job well done. You’ve gained deeper
understanding of your community, built friendships that will last a lifetime, and sharpened the leadership tools that will help you make a difference in the years ahead. Cape Coral’s future is brighter because of your commitment, and the Chamber can’t wait to see the impact you will make next.

Florida Potatoes and Green Beans with Bacon Ingredients 1 pound small Florida gold potatoes ½ pound Florida green beans, trimmed ½ red onion, sliced thin 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, reserve 2 tablespoons bacon grease 2 tablespoons fresh herbs, such as parsley and thyme, finely chopped ½ lemon, zested and juiced Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste Preparation
Fill large pot with water and bring to a boil, add 1 tablespoon salt, and boil potatoes until fork-tender, about 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and drain water. Preheat a large sauté pan or cast iron skillet over medium-high and add bacon grease. Add sliced onions to pan and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until almost caramelized. Mix in potatoes and continue cooking until the potatoes are starting to turn slightly golden brown. Add in green beans and continue to sauté for another 5 to 7 minutes or until slightly tender.
