REAL ESTATE TRENDS MOVING RIGHT ALONG Berge Aslanian (CDPE) Realtor, Island Harbor Realty
Easter is behind us while the last of the Spring Breakers are getting ready to pack up and go home. Like parents with everyone in for the holidays and then gone home will we be left with chores to get us back to normal? Yes and no. (Do you have trouble making up your mind? Yes and no, sometimes, I’m not sure…) I guess the real question is “what is normal for us?”, Let’s take a look at the past month’s number to see if we can find out. Cape Coral numbers for the three month period ending 3/29/16:
reasonability and minimum hourly wages increase, prices of all goods and services will increase to cover these costs induced by OPEC and/or government. As it pertains to the housing industry, transportation costs and labor costs and cost of building materials and even permits just keep moving up. Without pointing fingers, the facts are that these costs will all go up and they will cause prices to rise accordingly. Remember when a loaf of bread was under one dollar or when it only cost $2-3.00 for a movie ticket? Remember when your parents told you their first house cost less than your current yearly income? As sure as the sun is coming up tomorrow morning, prices will continue to rise. We just do not know the exact rate of increase, but there will be continual increases. If you accept the historical data and experience of inevitable price increases then you certainly can understand that the surest way to keep pace with price increases that diminish the buying power of savings is to buy real estate. Real property, selected carefully will provide the best hedge against increasing costs and any kind of inflation. Coming out of our high season should provide some evidence. We just saw a 22% increase in homes sold this past month. That was probably stimulated by our high season. Sales might settle down a bit with season ending but the prices will not decrease very much and next season we will see increases again. And so it goes.

However, other manufacturers have developed other materials that are infused with metals in order to create substitutes for product usually requiring silica sand.

HEALTHY TRENDS CONTINUED Campbell on April 14th. Dr. Campbell is presenting at 5:30 pm at the First Christian Church, 2061 McGregor Boulevard, Ft. Myers and will be talking not only about his research which was published in The China Study but also about “The Science of Plant Based Nutrition.” All are welcome but seats are limited, so please RSVP by sending an email to CampbellRSVP@leememorial.org to receive your ticket.
Along with Dr. Campbell’s presentation that night, we will also hear from his son, Nelson Campbell, who will talk about his “PlantPure Nation” initiative and how this is transforming health care across the nation. Plan on joining me on April 14th for two more exciting presentations which will help you live long and prosperous lives!
Medicine” meeting, I am very proud of the team we have built and how passionate people are dedicated to promoting another way of life which helps people become and stay healthy. As I say in all my presentations, “health is the number one priority” and we must cherish it every day. When we lose our good health, all else fails. When we lose our health, we spend all the necessary time, money and effort to get it back. The message is: don’t lose it in the first place then you won’t have to worry about getting it back! Chronic disease and cancers are avoidable. Most chronic disease and many of the common cancers are due to lifestyle and not genetics. Growing older does not mean we have to get old with disease. We are meant to grow older with vitality; and, as is shown in those areas of the world where people live into their 100’s, our DNA has been designed to live that long so why not take advantage of it?
That same morning at 7:30 am, Dr. T. Colin Campbell will be presenting By using food as medicine, and by swallowing plants rather than pills, clinical information to about 100 health care providers interested in hearing more about the health benefits of nutrition and how they can we can live long, productive, fun lives.
