ONLINE BANKING

First-Time Login — Complete your first-time login to Online and Mobile banking using the User ID and temporary password. Go to capecodfive.com and enter your User ID in the upper right-hand corner. See page 2 for stepby-step instructions.

Features — After your first-time login, establish helpful features such as alerts, Bill Pay and external transfers. See page 4 for details.

eStatements — Set up eStatements to receive your account statements quickly and securely.

To complete enrollment, see page 5.

Direct Deposits — Set up your recurring deposits (paychecks, pension and Social Security payments) to be credited directly to your account. You can find a form to give to your employer for payroll checks at capecodfive.com/welcome.

Mobile Deposits — Deposit checks from your mobile phone using Cape Cod 5’s mobile app.

PAYMENTS

Bill Pay — Once you have signed into Online Banking, click on the Bill Pay tab to send payments to businesses and people. It’s secure, and there is no charge for this service. See page 5 for more details.

Debit Card — Make purchases wherever Visa® is accepted and withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide.

1. Participation in the SUM® program represents thousands of ATMs nationwide with no surcharges imposed by the ATM operator.

2. Use Apple Pay®, Google Pay and Samsung Pay to make purchases in-store or in-app with your compatible device.

See page 7 for more details.

Electronic Payments — Provide routing and account numbers to any businesses with whom you have recurring electronic payments.

Online and Mobile Banking First-Time Login If you have previously logged in to Online and Mobile Banking, please proceed to pages 4 – 6 for assistance in setting up features.

If you have not logged in to Online and Mobile Banking, please follow the steps below to get started.

1. ENTER YOUR USER ID Go to capecodfive.com and enter the User ID supplied to you in the green box in the upper right-hand corner.

2. ENTER YOUR TEMPORARY PASSWORD You will be prompted to enter your Cape Cod 5 Online Banking password. For your first login, use the last four digits of your Social Security number as your temporary password. You’ll see a random watermark image appear. In the next steps, you’ll choose a permanent password and your own secure watermark.

Please DO NOT click the Forgot Your Password? link.

3. SELECT A NEW PASSWORD A. Now you’ll be prompted to select a new password. To start, please enter the last four digits of your Social Security number again in the field labeled Enter your current Password.

B. In the Enter your new Password box, create a unique password that cannot be easily guessed. Criteria for the strength of your chosen password will appear on the screen — please adjust yours until you have achieved a high security strength. Then reenter your new password.

C. Choose a more personal User ID by clicking on the Change box and entering a new user name that follows the criteria shown.

4. OPTIONAL TEXT MESSAGE SECURITY CODE Certain transactions, including User ID, email or password changes and external account transfers, require a security code. You can input a US-based phone number capable of receiving text messages on this screen. If you do not provide a number, you will be prompted to contact the Customer Service Center to obtain a security code when you try to complete any of the above transactions.

5. CHOOSE A PERSONAL WATERMARK IMAGE Next, you will see a number of different color images. Please choose one to be your personal security watermark. This feature acts as a graphic password so you know you’re on the real Cape Cod 5 Online Banking site and not a counterfeit site. It also helps prevent fraudulent access to your private information.

Online and Mobile Banking First-Time Login 6. SET UP SECURITY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Choose three challenge questions and answer them.

7. PROVIDE YOUR VERIFICATION PHONE NUMBER Please provide the phone number at which you can be most easily reached.

This can be the same phone number you used to get your text message security code in Step 4. In the event that the Online Banking system suspects that someone other than you is attempting to log in, or if you log in from a different computer or device for the first time, you’ll have the choice of either answering your security questions or receiving a phone call at this number.

8. CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS Confirm that the email address here is correct and is your preferred email contact. If it is not, please enter the correct email address.

Create a password reset challenge question Create a question that will be posed and an answer that will need to be provided when you reset your password.

9. ESTABLISH FEATURES Once you have completed the first-time login to Online Banking, you’ll have access to all of these features. Please see pages 4 and 5 for more details.

eStatements — Enroll to receive eStatements — electronic versions of your paper account statements that are delivered securely to your Online Banking account.

Bill Pay — Pay bills securely and conveniently.

Alerts — Online Banking alerts provide a quick and easy way to receive notifications about account activity.

External Transfers — It’s easy to make transfers to and from an account at another financial institution.

10. DOWNLOAD THE MOBILE BANKING APP Download the Cape Cod 5 mobile app from your device’s app store. You’ll find easy-to-use instructions on page 6 of this guide and at capecodfive.com/welcome.

Online Banking Features Once you have completed your first-time login to Online Banking, you can start using the features below. You’ll have the tools to manage your accounts right at your fingertips.

MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNTS When you log in, your personal dashboard will give you an overview of your accounts, payments and other activity in a format that’s easy to navigate and customize. Clicking on the Overview tab at any time will bring you back to this overview. There are “widgets” or tools that allow quick access to a specific feature or functionality — including alerts, secure messages, transfers, account listing and bill payments, along with a view of recent transactions.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR ONLINE BANKING DASHBOARD

1. Settings — Certain “widgets” or tools can be customized by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the widget box.

2. View More — Certain “widgets” or tools have additional information that can be viewed by clicking on the green arrow in the upper right corner of the widget box.

3. Manage Dashboard — Click on the white X in the upper right corner of any “widget” or tool to remove that feature from the dashboard. To add a “widget” back onto the dashboard, click on Configure This Page.

EASILY TRANSFER MONEY To transfer money between your Cape Cod 5 accounts, you can use the Transfer tool on the Dashboard Overview or click on Transfers under the Overview tab. To make transfers to and from an account at another financial institution, click on the Overview tab and select the External Transfers option.

ALERTS Keep up-to-date on account activity with email and text messages. Online Banking alerts provide a quick and easy way to receive notifications about account activity. To set up alerts, click on the Settings tab and choose Alerts. To establish Bill Pay alerts, please click on the Bill Pay tab and choose My Account.

GO PAPERLESS WITH eSTATEMENTS Available for all checking, statement savings, money market deposit accounts and loans.

FAST — Quicker delivery than paper statements, with an email notification sent to you when a new statement is available EASY — Accessible in Online Banking and can be saved to your computer or printed if needed SECURE — Reduce risk of mail theft GREEN — Save paper while maintaining efficient access to your documents HOW TO ENROLL

If you have enrolled in eStatements as part of opening your account, you will need to verify your enrollment when logging into Online Banking with three easy steps: 1. View the enrollment passcode by clicking on the link to the PDF document.

HELPFUL HINT

You will receive an email from customerservice@capecodfive.com when your eStatement is available each month.

2. Enter the passcode in the field indicated.

3. Review the disclosure and select I Accept to complete your enrollment.

To enroll on your own, you can click on the eStatements tab in Online Banking at any time.

PAY YOUR BILLS THE FAST, EASY WAY With Bill Pay you can pay any business, individual or other financial institution online. You can organize your finances and never miss a bill, all while saving time and money.

HOW TO ENROLL

1. Log in to Online Banking from the homepage.

2. Click on the Bill Pay tab.

3. Choose the account from which you primarily pay your bills.

4. Read and agree to the Cape Cod 5 Bill Pay agreement and disclosure and click Go.

HELPFUL HINT

Payees offering eBills (bills that are delivered to Cape Cod 5 Online Banking) are identified by a Set up eBill link under the Payee’s name.

5. Add payees and schedule payments.

Mobile Banking BANK WHEREVER YOU ARE, WHENEVER YOU WANT, USING YOUR PHONE OR MOBILE DEVICE With Cape Cod 5’s mobile app, you can use your mobile device to: Keep up-to-date on transactions and balances.

Transfer funds between Cape Cod 5 accounts.

Deposit checks using your device’s camera.

Pay bills through Bill Pay.

If you use a compatible device, you can log into Mobile Banking with the touch of a finger.

DOWNLOAD MOBILE BANKING APP Search for “Cape Cod 5” in your device’s app store.

Once you have installed the app, you’re ready to start banking by logging in with your Online Banking User ID and password.

DEPOSIT A CHECK Skip the trip to the bank. Use Mobile Banking and your mobile device’s camera to deposit a check. Choose Deposits from the menu, then select + to get started.

Simply take a picture of the front and back of the check, enter the amount and select the account into which you would like your funds deposited.

MOBILE WEB If you would like to bank on your mobile device without downloading an app, follow these steps: 1. Open your device’s internet browser and visit capecodfive.com 2. Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner 3. Enter your Online Banking user ID and tap “Login”

TEXT MESSAGE BANKING If you don’t have a smartphone or a data plan, you can still bank from your mobile phone. Log in to Cape Cod 5 Online Banking and click on Settings, then click Mobile Settings. You’ll be able to register your device and get directions on how to use text message banking.

Debit Card and ATMs MAKING PURCHASES WITH YOUR VISA® DEBIT CARD Use your chip-enabled debit card to make purchases wherever Visa® is accepted.

WITHDRAWING CASH Use your card to withdraw cash at ATMs worldwide. Non-Cape Cod 5 ATM usage may be subject to a transaction fee. Other banks may also impose their own charges.

Premier5 and PrimaryPlus account customers pay no ATM fees.

SURCHARGE-FREE ATMS Use your card at thousands of SUM® program ATMs nationwide with no surcharge by the ATM operator. For additional information and to find a SUM® program ATM, visit sum-atm.com.

USING APPLE PAY®, GOOGLE PAY™ & SAMSUNG PAY® With your Cape Cod 5 Debit Card connected to Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay, shopping in person or online is easy and secure. Use your phone or other supported mobile device to make purchases at grocery stores, restaurants, hotels — anywhere mobile payments are accepted. And because your card details are never shared when you use Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay — they are not stored on your device at all — you get an additional level of security.

TRAVELING WITH YOUR DEBIT CARD Cape Cod 5 debit cards are chip-enabled for use at home and abroad. To help ensure use of your card while you travel internationally, before you depart please notify our Customer Service Center of your travel plans at 888-225-4636.

DEBIT CARD FRAUD ALERTS At Cape Cod 5, protection of your financial information is one of our top priorities. Cape Cod 5 has partnered with Jack Henry Card Processing Solutions, a national technology service provider for financial institutions, to provide 24/7 debit card fraud monitoring and prevention through the Fraud Center. Debit card fraud alerts will be sent via: • Text message — The text message will ask you to verify transactions with the last four digits of your card. The text messages will never ask you to provide your debit card number, account number or other information and will be sent from short code number “96923.”

• Email — You will be asked to click on a link either verifying the charges were authorized or were not authorized. Please use the links enclosed in the email and do not reply to the email directly. The email will note the Fraud Center phone number 800-237-8990.

• Phone call — The automated call system will note that the call is on behalf of Cape Cod 5 and will include the last four digits of your debit card. The system will ask you to verify the zip code for your billing address (which is the address the Bank has on file for your account).

It will then ask you if a charge is authorized by you. The call will be from the Fraud Center phone number 800-237-8990.

You will never be asked to provide your full account number, Social Security number, Online Banking password or other sensitive information.

If you ever suspect you are receiving a fraudulent message, contact our Customer Service Center immediately at 888-225-4636.

IMPORTANT — When you are contacted by the

Fraud Center by text message, email or phone call, please respond at your earliest convenience. If we cannot reach you to confirm that suspicious activity is legitimate, a transaction may be declined or your card may be temporarily blocked.

Tools to Help Avoid Overdrafts LINK TO A SAVINGS OR MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT (Personal and business accounts)

When you link a savings or money market deposit account to your checking account, the Bank will automatically transfer funds from your savings or money market account to your checking account when your checking account has a negative balance. It’s called the Overdraft Transfer Service and costs $5 per day that this transfer service is utilized. The Overdraft Transfer Service fee does not apply to Premier5 Banking accounts. Money is transferred from your savings or money market account in increments of $25 until the balance in the checking account is above $0. You are limited to six (6) pre-authorized, automatic, or telephone transfers/withdrawals from each savings or money market account per cycle.

LINK TO A LINE OF CREDIT (Personal accounts only)

You can borrow money from the Bank if you overdraw your account to ensure your checking balance stays positive. With an Overdraft Protection Line of Credit, you pay interest instead of a transfer fee. There is an application process for this loan. If you are approved, when your checking account has a negative balance, money is automatically transferred from the overdraft line of credit in increments of $50 until the balance in the checking account is above $0 or until the credit limit is reached. Since this is a loan, you will be charged interest and must make monthly payments on the outstanding balance.

KNOW YOUR BALANCE (Personal and business accounts)

Sometimes avoiding overdrafts is as easy as knowing your account balance. Cape Cod 5 has several ways to monitor your balance. As you review your balance, remember bill payments and automated payment deductions you have set up, checks you have written and any other debits that might not have been subtracted yet from your account.

ONLINE AND MOBILE BANKING

Check balances and activity frequently through Online and Mobile Banking. Set up balance alerts or log in to get up-to-date information about your account.

TELEPHONE BANKING

Call 888-333-0555 to hear your account balances and review any recent transactions.
