ne out of 10 daycares in Chilliwack has been deemed a “high inspection priority” by Fraser Health for reasons that include confirmed abuse, untrained staff or inappropriate responses to reportable incidents, according to data obtained by the Vancouver Sun. Of the 112 providers in Chilliwack, 17 had a “moderate” rating and 84 were rated “low.” The priority ratings—which used to be called “risk ratings” until the Sun produced a searchable database of those rankings in 2008—are assigned to daycares for infants and toddlers as well as preschools and after-school care facilities. if I was to say there’s either been expressions of interests or people making offers probably 50 times in those five years, but people didn’t find out about it so no one asked. We reviewed every single one of them and obviously we rejected them because we’re still here.” Bruins fans have exchanged
