Dear Canterbury Families and Friends, Are you ready for smores and a backyard campfire? Good evening and welcome to the 2021 Spring Gala, Cozy at Home. Even though our annual Gala may look a little different this year, tonight should be a lot of fun spending time with our families and our wonderful Canterbury community as we come together virtually to raise money to benefit our students. This event represents the fabulous volunteer spirit that permeates Canterbury. So many people give their time, energy, and talent to create a very special evening. I particularly want to thank our Gala Chair Ashley Craig, her hard-working committee and innumerable volunteers. You deserve a standing ovation and big THANK YOU for this outstanding accomplishment! We are so grateful to you all. Proceeds from tonight’s Gala directly benefit every student. Curriculum, activities, and professional development are all enhanced because of your generosity. I also want to thank our sponsors and everyone who donated items for this event. We are so grateful for your help in making this event a success. So kick back, relax and bid away! Have a wonderful evening and thank you for all you do for Canterbury!

Dear Canterbury Family and Friends, Thank you so much for being part of “Cozy at Home”! On behalf of our wonderful Gala volunteers and the hardworking team in the Canterbury Advancement Office, welcome! While this year may look different from previous years, I hope that everyone has a wonderful evening watching with their families from the comfort of their own homes. I would especially like to welcome our Sponsors and Donors. They are recognized throughout this program, and we strongly encourage you to support them with your business. Because of their generosity, every dollar we raise tonight will directly benefit our school! The Gala is an opportunity for parents, friends, faculty, and staff to come together and celebrate the wonderful teamwork and community that make Canterbury such a great place for our children to learn and grow. Though this past year has presented several challenges, the Canterbury family has persevered and become stronger than ever before. It has also shown how tonight, we can celebrate not only what Canterbury has accomplished in the past but also the amazing opportunities that lie ahead. We each have an opportunity to reflect on how we can help our school reach its full potential and hope that you will take advantage of all this evening has to offer. Peruse the silent auction. Our generous donors have provided some very nice items for you to bid on. Sign up for parties. These are a great way for Canterbury students to enjoy their classmates outside of the school environment. Our live auction program will offer a chance for you to “win” some experiences that you are sure to remember. Purchase your raffle tickets for the amazing gift basket that our Board of Trustees has generously put together. Now curl up, get “cozy” and enjoy Canterbury’s first ever Live Virtual Gala. Thank you for attending, and thank you for your continued support of Canterbury. Have a wonderful evening,

Ashley Ashley Craig
