SHORT-TERM GRAZING LICENCE AGREEMENT OVER LOT 7011 DP 1025699 –

FORMER SANITARY DEPOT

Forbes Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a short-term grazing licence agreement over Lot 7011 DP 1025699 on The Bogan Way. A temporary Licence is available for a person interested in using the site for grazing. Expression of Interest proposals, addressed to the General Manager, are to be submitted via email to forbes@forbes.nsw.gov.au, by hand or by post to PO Box 333, Forbes NSW 2871. LOCALS APPROVALS POLICY: ACTIVITIES ON FOOTHPATHS

In accordance with Local Government Act 1993, a proposed Local Approvals Policy for Activities on Footpaths has been placed on public exhibition. The draft policy is available on Council’s website, or in person at Council’s Administration Office at 2 Court Street, Forbes. Submissions may be made in writing to The General Manager, PO Box 333, Forbes NSW 2871, in person at 2 Court Street, Forbes, or by email to forbes@forbes.nsw.gov.au. Submissions close at 5pm 23 June 2023.

Quotations are invited for power upgrades to the Forbes Aerodrome. Quotations are to be lodged through Council’s e-tendering portal, Tenderlink www.tenderlink.com/forbes. For further information, contact Council’s Governance Officer – Procurement on (02) 6850 2300 (Option 4) or refer to Council’s website www.forbes.nsw.gov.au. Canvassing of any of Council’s staff or Councillors will disqualify tenderers from the tendering process. The lowest of any tender will not necessarily be accepted. SKI DAM CLOSURE IN PREPARATION FOR FROST AND FIRE EVENT

A reminder to residents the Forbes Ski Dam is closed from Tuesday 13 June until Sunday 18 June. Access is restricted while we set up for Frost and Fire to be held on Saturday 17 June. The walking and cycling tracks will be accessible until 5pm on Friday and will reopen on Sunday. See you at Frost and Fire 2023.
