Global Partnership Pack 2025/2026

About Us

Cannon Events was formed in 2017 with a plan to create the market leading, London-based conference for the global marine insurance community. After launching the inaugural Marine Insurance London in 2018, we quickly added regionally based international conferences in the largest marine insurance hubs.

In 2019 we expanded into the energy insurance market, launching Energy Insurance London. This was followed by Energy Insurance Americas in 2022, focusing on Renewables, Oil & Gas and Power.

We have continued to expand our portfolio in 2025 with the addition of two new conferences, Marine Insurance Middle East and The Marine & Energy Technology Forum.

Cannon Events also publishes The Marine Insurer, a quarterly publication with an average readership of some 2000+ global marine professionals.

Business Model

Working closely with industry associations and advisory boards comprised of senior market representatives from each region, we strive to ensure that our content covers the most pressing issues facing each geographic area. As a global business, marine insurance markets are intrinsically linked and each one of our conference agendas and magazines are painstakingly researched to incorporate regionally specific experts covering the most relevant subject matter.

Cannon Events is fortunate enough to have 24 Global Partners (insurers and brokers) that support all our conferences. Global Partners receive unlimited physical delegate places and branding at all conferences. Senior Global Partner representatives also form the bulk of our advisory committees. These key relationships with insurers and brokers ensure that our content is always relevant and that our conferences are well attended by the right people.

Launched in 2022 in New York, Energy Insurance Americas is twinned with Energy Insurance London. With a strong focus on the burgeoning renewables market in the US and also covering Oil & Gas and new technologies, Energy Insurance Americas was re-located to Houston in 2023, where it was extremely well supported. Unlike its London twin, the event sees energy companies participating directly due to them being domiciled there.

18 November 2025

The Nordic marine sector has been a long-term success story, with insurers and clubs developing a global reach. We had felt for some time that as our portfolio developed, the Nordics were an important region that required its own event and as such, Marine Insurance Nordics was born.

The inaugural Marine Insurance Nordics event was held virtually in 2021 and was a resounding success. Thanks to our relationships with our regional and global partners, the inaugural physical events were also hugely successful and have seen a record number of companies attend. We have great traction with the shipowner community in this region and have moved the event to a much bigger venue to accommodate the expected increase in attendees.

Launched in 2018 and now in its ninth year, Marine Insurance London is Cannon Events’ flagship conference. With Lloyd’s at its heart, London is a global hub for marine insurance and our leading conference regularly attracts global heads and c-suite executives from across the marine industry to the speaker faculty. Our aim is to bring together insurers, reinsurers, brokers, shipping companies, service providers and others from the marine world to

the current state of the marine insurance market and in this case, London’s role in it. We achieve this through a mix of conference presentations (keynotes, panels, roundtables, workshops and fireside discussions) and one-to-one meetings organised through our bespoke meeting program. Ample networking breaks are also provided where delegates can meet with our exhibitors and learn about the latest products and technologies on offer.
