and for good and safe operations in general. In the car industry, your car has a specified consumption level under specific conditions, but, as the driver, you are the decisive factor in relation to fuel consumption: the same applies to the captain of a vessel. Our focus is on making it as easy as possible to operate a Havyard design in the most economical, secure and environmentally friendly way possible.

THE MARKET As I write, several new contracts have been announced, but it is still the case that the number of delivered vessels is larger than the number of new contracts signed, so that, in the foreseeable future, we will have lower capacity utilisation in the industry. We in Havyard will make good use of this time to improve quality and increase efficiency, and focus on innovation and development. So, when the next economic upturn comes along, we will be well prepared and have good products and services that we will deliver in accordance with the highest standards in the industry.

With these words, I would like to wish all our employees and other stakeholders, including customers and subcontractors, all the best. I am looking forward to continued good collaboration with the goal of making each other good.
