It features functionality for up to two commentators and provides two mic/line inputs along with two headphone outputs, along with support for up to 16 inputs and output channels over AoIP or up to 16 simultaneous I/O output AoIP streams.
Dante enabled press splitters are used to avoid the unsightly clutter that results at events such as press conferences, when every broadcasting organisation present tries to erect a microphone directly in front of the speaker, precisely where the cameramen would rather they did not.
The splitter takes a small number of inputs from microphones or the local mixer and distributes the signal to a large number of outputs for use by the media.
These microphone splitters divide a single feed to three outputs. Output 1, typically used for the main mixer, passes phantom power to the microphone. Features XLR 3-pin connectors – female input, male outputs.
An evolution of the standard diecast loudspeaker, this powered, Dante-enabled unit is designed to be robust and cost-effective. Suitable for talkback, line listening, cue programme, monitoring, or small PA use. Broadcast quality noise-cancelling ‘lip’ microphone, designed specifically for commentary work in environments where the level of background noise requires that the microphone be used very close to the mouth. It is a gradient ribbon unit with a high degree of acoustic damping, fitted into a special case equipped with nose and mouth breath shields. The talking distance has to be controlled accurately in order to maintain the correct frequency response (avoidance of variation of proximity effect) and this is done by positioning bars which contact the user’s upper lip.
Studio quality ribbon microphone, with bi-directional polar pattern. The frequency response is 30 to 15,000Hz, and impedance 300ohms. Distortion is less than 1% at an SPL of 125dB. The stem incorporates cable eyelets for suspended applications, and a Western Electric 4069 type mating connector.
This range uses a high quality 200 ohm dynamic capsule in an attractive satin nickel or black finish robust metal housing, with foam windshield insert. The range is particularly suited to communications and paging applications, having a response with a peak in the middle of the speech band and good back-tofront rejection ratio.
This 2.4GHz 2-channel set wireless system offers an all-in-one wireless microphone system with a two-channel 2.4 GHz receiver, two clip-on microphones, and versatile mounting and connection accessories housed in a portable charging bar that conveniently doubles as a handheld interview mic.
Designed for simplicity and convenience, Profile Wireless comes includes connectivity option to connect to a camera, laptop, phone, or alternatively to use it as a desktop mic. The receiver, two clipon microphones, a cold shoe mounting adaptor, USB-C and Lightning connectors, microphone mounting clips and magnets for attachment to clothing can be stored in the system’s portable charging bar for portability. The OLED display on the receiver has a gyro sensor that automatically orients the display depending on positioning. The internal battery allows up to 7hours operational time (recording and transmitting), and up to 14hours (recording without transmitting). Charging time is 3hours or less. The system also features a 32-bit float recording capability - with each clip on microphone including 16GB memory; allowing for recording up to 30 hours of audio with high dynamic range and recovery of clipped audio.
