London to Christchurch

Arriving on day 3, you’ll have two nights in Christchurch to explore the city and meet your fellow travellers at a welcome dinner.

Lake Takepo & Mount Cook National Park

Your motorhome adventure starts with a drive across the Canterbury Plains towards the turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo. Be sure to stop and view the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd, a photographer’s favourite, then head towards Lake Pukaki in the Mount Cook National Park.

Travel south through the Waitaki Valley. As you follow the coast be sure to stop at the mysterious Moeraki Boulders then continue to Dunedin known as ‘the Edinburgh of the South’ and the gateway to the diverse wildlife of the Otago Peninsula.

Te Anau & Milford Sound

Cross farmlands of Central Otago as you make your way to the Fiordland National Park. Either take an exhilarating jetboat or visit the underground world of waterfalls at Te Anau Glowworm Caves. The next day take a full day excursion to Milford Sound, famous for the towering peaks that rise from the water.

Days 11 - 13: Queenstown & Lake Wanaka

During your stay at Queenstown enjoy a trip on the gondola to the top of Bob’s Peak for a dinner overlooking Lake Wakatipu & the Mountains. On day 13 enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Wanaka.

Days 14 - 15: Fox & Franz Josef Glaciers

Travel past the untouched native forests and lakes of the World Heritage Westland National Park to the west coast. The glaciers of Fox & Franz Josef are twin rivers of ice close to the sea.

Days 16 - 18: Westport, Kaiteriteri & Abel Tasman National Park

Travel along the rugged west coast with its towering rainforests, rushing rivers and tranquil lakes. On day 17 continue to Kaiteriteri. The stunning coastal forest and shoreline of Abel Tasman National Park can be explored on foot, by kayak or by boat.

Days 19 - 20: Picton

A short drive to Picton, situated in the heart of the Marlborough wine region with bush walks, scenic cruises or fishing and of course you can visit the local wineries.

Days 21 - 22: Interislander Ferry & Wellington

Take the InterIslander ferry from Picton across the Cook Strait to the North Island. At Wellington, visit the Te Papa museum to learn about the history of New Zealand and its Maori heritage.

Days 23 - 24: Napier

Drive north through the rural heartland of the Wairarapa region to Napier in the Hawke’s Bay region, famous for its many vineyards that serve food to accompany award-winning wines.

Days 25 - 26: Lake Taupo & Rotorua

Head north and be sure to stop at the lakeside resort of Taupo and the mighty Huka Falls. Continue on to the geothermal city of Rotorua where you’ll enjoy a traditional Maori feast. The region around Rotorua is a geothermal ‘hot spot’ featuring geysers, colourful mineral lakes and hot springs.

Days 27 -28: Bay of Plenty & Coromandel Peninsula

Drive across the volcanic plateau and along the Bay of Plenty coastline to the Coromandel Peninsula fringed with dozens of beaches. You can dig your own hot pool metres from the

Cathedral Cove where a huge arched cavern passes through the headland, joining up two secluded coves.

Days 29 - 32: Orewa & the Bay of Islands

Travel north heading for the coastal town of Orewa just north of Auckland. On day 30 head north to Russell for a 3 night stay in the Bay of Islands, a National Maritime Park home to 144 islands. Perhaps enjoy a boat trip, or head to the most northerly point of New Zealand, Cape Reinga, where the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea converge.

Days 33 - 34: Auckland

Explore this harbour city at your leisure be it on land or water. A visit to Waiheke Island is recommended offers spectacular views of the city across the water.

Days 35 - 36: Return flight to the UK

Time to bid farewell, leaving New Zealand with treasured memories that will last a lifetime.

Itinerary

Days 1 - 4: London to Auckland

Arrive in Auckland on day 3 and explore as you please. Maybe take in the views from the Sky Tower or take a boat trip across the harbour.

Days 5 - 6: Rotorua

Pick up your motorhome and head south to Rotorua, the geothermal region of New Zealand.

Day 7: Taupo

Take the road south to Lake Taupo or continue on to the volcanic scenery of Tongariro National Park and the unmistakable shapes of its three active volcanic mountains.

Days 8 - 9: Wellington

Explore the capital with an optional visit to the national museum of New Zealand. Take a trip up Mount Victoria for views over the city.

Days 10 - 11: Interislander Ferry & Nelson

Cross Cook Strait to the South Island via spectacular Queen Charlotte Sound. Continue to the coastal town of Nelson and enjoy local beaches or visit nearby Abel Tasman National Park.

Day 12: West Coast

Visit Punakaiki rocks where the forces of nature have carved the rocks to their distinctive shapes.

Days 13 - 14: Fox & Franz Josef Glaciers

Enjoy the stunning scenery as you travel down the coast, with the mountain range on one side and the Tasman Sea on the other. Take an optional guided walk onto the glacier, to see the ice up close.

Day 15: Wanaka

Cross the Southern Alps via Haast Pass, which passes through Mount Aspiring National Park, on your way to the picturesque lakeside town of Wanaka.

Days 16 - 17: Queenstown

The adventure capital of New Zealand also offers stunning scenery with walks and gondola trips a more leisurely option. Whilst you’re in Queenstown take a day trip to Milford Sound which we’re happy to arrange for you.

Days 18 - 19: Dunedin

Known as the Edinburgh of the South due to its Scottish heritage with well preserved Victorian architecture.

Day 20: Christchurch

Head north and stop off to see the Moeraki Boulders before you cross the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch and explore this vibrant city.

Days 21 - 22: Christchurch to the UK

Transfer to the airport for your flight home, landing in the UK the following day.

Itinerary

Days 1 - 4: Christchurch

Fly from a range of airports in the UK and transfer to your hotel in the South Island’s largest city, known for its beautiful public gardens, old world charm and architecture, and quaint, walkable city centre.

Day 5: Christchurch to Lake Tekapo

Today’s journey takes you to Mt Cook, the highest peak in Australasia and Mt John observatory for your own views of this International Dark Sky Reserve. Stop for a photo opportunity at Lake Pukaki, whose waters are an otherworldly icy blue. The surrounding countryside provided some of the locations for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies; grab a tour book from a local bookstore to seek out the highlights.

Days 6 - 9: Wanaka & Queenstown

Enjoy the drive along the Southern Alps to picturesque Lake Wanaka, nestled at the foot of the mountains. Just over an hour’s drive from Wanaka is the alpine resort of Queenstown, known as the adventure capital of New Zealand. There are opportunities for bungee jumping, jet boating and river rafting, but if it’s something quieter you’re after then high tea at the end of Lake Wakatipu or local wine tasting might be more tempting.

Days 10 & 11: Fox Glacier

Enjoy mountain views as you travel over to the South Island’s west coast. Along the way stop at Lake Matheson then head through Mt Aspiring National Park and visit the penguin colony at Monro Beach before arriving at Fox Glacier. Franz Josef glacier is just a short drive away and you can arrange a helihike to the top to explore its ice caves.

Day 12: Fox Glacier to Greymouth

From Franz Josef, make your way up the rugged West Coast, through the old gold mining settlement of Hokitika to enjoy its beautiful forest and the bright blue waters of the river.

Days 13 -15: Abel Tasman

Your next destination is Abel Tasman National Park, with easy day hikes, boat trips and some of the best beaches in the South Island. The nearby bohemian town of Nelson, with its pretty white sand beaches, palm trees, and brightly coloured buildings prides itself on having the most sunshine hours in New Zealand.

Days 16 & 17: Picton

Explore the bays between Anakiwa and Picton and admire the Marlborough Sounds then discover the Marlborough wine region.

Days 18 & 19: Whanganui

Enjoy the scenic crossing of the Cook Strait to New Zealand’s North Island, via picturesque Queen Charlotte Sound to the river town of Whanganui.

Days 20 & 21: Whanganui to New Plymouth

Enjoy the dairy farms, scenic little towns, and views of Mt Taranaki along your route north then choose between ‘Surf Highway’ with its coastal views or take the inland route for a closer view of Mount Taranak to New Plymouth.

Days 22 & 23: New Plymouth to Waitomo Caves

Enjoy the drive along the Tasman Sea through seaside villages, perfect for picnics and spotting Kiwis, to Waitomo, famous for its caves and kiwi house.

Days 24 – 26: Auckland (Orewa)

The trip north from Waitomo heads right through the dairy heartland of New Zealand as you head towards Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city.

Days 27 & 28: Hobbiton & Rotorua

From Auckland, head south again for a real Middle Earth experience at the town of Matamata, home to the village of Hobbiton, to explore the Shire built for the Hobbits of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Continue to Rotorua, a geothermal ‘hotspot’ with its ‘Champagne Pool’ and Lady Knox geyser, then Te Puia Thermal Reserve with its boiling mud pools, steaming vents and Pohutu geyser.

Days 29 & 30: Taupo

Days 7 & 8: Dunedin to Invercargill

Drive to Lake Waihola, stop for a picnic by the lake before heading to the Catlins, known for the sea life that lives off its wild shores. Take out the binoculars to try to spot sea lions, seals, dolphins, penguins, and seabirds. In Invercargill, try the local seafood, especially its Bluff Oysters in season. From here visit Stewart Island to spot kiwi in the wild.

Enjoy the views along the shores of Lake Hawea as you head north, and stop for lunch at Makarora before hitting the Haast pass and entering the rainforest. Just north of Haast is Lake Moeraki, a 40-minute walk takes you to the penguin colony at Monro Beach. Then continue on to Fox Glacier, with Franz Josef Glacier just a short drive north. Walk to the terminal of the glacier or arrange a heli-hike to explore its ice caves.

Day 18: Franz Josef to Greymouth

From Franz Josef, make your way up the rugged West Coast, through the old gold mining settlement of Hokitika. Take the walk to the Hokitika Gorge or try the West Coast Treetops Walk through the forest canopy on purpose-built boardwalks.

Days 19 - 21: Greymouth to Marahau

Before leaving the coast, make the time to see the unusual rock formations Punakaiki, then head north toward Buller Gorge and on to Marahau, which skirts the edges of three National Parks.

Days 22 & 23: Marahau to Nelson

Stop at Kaiteriteri, with its gorgeous white sand beaches before travelling on to the bohemian town of Nelson with its palm trees, and brightly coloured buildings which prides itself on having the most sunshine hours in the country.

Days 24 & 25: Nelson to Blenheim

Stop at Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve for a day walk or picnic. Blenheim is in the middle of the world famous Marlborough wine region, and there are scores of vineyards and wineries to stop in for lunch and a sample of local wines.

Days 26 & 27: Blenheim to Kaikoura

Enjoy the trip south through the breathtaking Awatere Valley and on along the vistas of the Pacific Coast. Don’t miss the chance to sample some of the freshest shellfish and crustaceans around or Venture onto the coastal walkway to see sperm whales, dusky dolphins, fur seals and albatross play in the waters off shore.

What is Freedom Camping?

Freedom camping is the ultimate outdoor experience. Just you, your fellow travellers and nature. It means you won’t have to worry about plugging your campervan into power, and you can really explore New Zealand’s beautiful, legal camping grounds. You’ll have the comforts and facilities of your motorhome, with uninterrupted, stunning views of the great outdoors. There are districts in New Zealand that do not permit you to freedom camp. These areas may or may not be clearly sign posted so we recommend you always check with a local first. Visitor Information Centres or ‘iSites’ will always be able to advise you.

Department of Conservation (DOC) Campsites

These are often in some of the best locations around the country – in national parks, alongside the Great Walks and in tranquil and secluded spots. The campsites are usually quite basic, offering 'back to nature' style accommodation and facilities and very reasonably priced.

There are six categories of DoC campsites:

Serviced campsites – include a wide range of amenities with flush toilets, kitchen/cooking facilities, hot showers and rubbish collection. These campsites can be booked at a DoC visitor centre

Scenic campsites – Usually in high-use, coastal locations, these campsites have toilets and tap water supply and often barbeques, cold showers and rubbish bins. Some scenic campsites can be booked in advance.

Standard campsites – Limited range of amenities including a pit or composting toilet, a water supply and some may have cold showers, barbeque and rubbish facilities. These campsites generally cannot be booked.

Basic campsites – You really need to be self-sufficient to stay at these campsites with basic toilet facilities and water from a tank, lake or stream. Basic campsites generally cannot be booked.

Backcountry campsites – Usually have toilets and a water supply from a stream. They may also have basic cooking facilities and picnic tables. These campsites generally cannot be booked.

Great Walk campsites – There are 60 Great Walk campsites situated along all Great Walk tracks (except Milford) and they offer basic facilities including toilets and a water supply. Bookings are usually required and can be completed online.

Days 1 – 4: UK to Adelaide

Landing on day 3 you will be met at Adelaide Airport. There will be a motorhome briefing on day 4, and a welcome dinner, otherwise your time is yours to explore as you choose.

Days 5 & 6: Robe

Collect your motorhome and head through the Adelaide Hills, over the Murray River and on through the Coorong National Park, a collection of salt water lagoons, home to a range of birdlife including Pelicans. Your destination of Robe, one of the most attractive historic towns in South Australia, is tucked away on the shores of the Guichen Bay.

Days 7 & 8: Port Campbell

Travel inland and visit the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves, part of the 800,000 year old Naracoorte East Range, and one of the world’s most important fossil sites. A visit to Tower Hill Reserve is the ideal place to experience the Australian bush and see some of Australia's most iconic wildlife including emus, koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, black swans and wedge-tail eagles in their natural habitat.

Days 9 – 11: Melbourne

Today is one of the highlights of the trip, the Great Ocean Road. One of the most iconic drives in the world, with breathtaking views capped off by the ever photogenic 12 Apostles. Then it’s onto Melbourne, best known for its fine parks and gardens, tree-lined streets, historic bluestone buildings and some of Australia's most famous sporting events.

Days 12 & 13: Albury

Travel north to historic Beechworth one of Australia's early gold mining boomtowns. Home for the next two nights is beside Lake Hume, where you can swim, fish, hire a boat, enjoy the on-site pool and tennis court or explore some of Victoria’s local history. For wine enthusiasts there is the option to enjoy wine tastings in the Rutherglen Wine Region.

Days 14 & 15: Canberra

Canberra is Australia's National Capital, on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. The city features Australia's new Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial and an interesting array of foreign embassies and diplomatic residences.

From mid September to mid October you can visit Canberra’s annual flower festival; Floriade, with 30 days of blooms, food and entertainment.

Days 16 -18: Sydney

Sydney, capital of New South Wales, is Australia's oldest and largest city, with one of the most beautiful deep water harbours in the world and famous landmarks such as the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, as well as some of Australia's best surfing beaches.

Days 19 & 20: Port Macquarie

Travel north to Port Macquarie, known for its beaches, wildlife and penal colony past. Take the coastal walk to the lighthouse for views over the water, and sightings of whales and dolphins or visit Billabong Zoo with its koala breeding centre.

Day 21 – 23: Byron Bay

Home to Australia's most easterly point and the iconic Cape Byron lighthouse, the region is known for its spectacular beaches, unique shopping and dining experiences, world-class festivals, and vibrant community spirit.

Day 24 & 25: Hervey Bay

Visit Queensland’s whale hot spot, around 300 kilometres north of Brisbane, where humpback whales stop to breed and nurse their young. See their playful antics on an optional whale watching tour. You’ll also visit Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world and only place on Earth where rainforests grow on sand dunes.

Days 26 & 27: Yeppoon

As you continue your journey northwards make a stop in Bundaberg, famous for its rum. Moving on you come to the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef and the coastline is dotted with historic coastal towns, coral cays and some of the most important turtle breeding sites in the world.

Once you reach Yeppoon wander along the town's picturesque esplanade with its backdrop of offshore islands, sparkling azure sea and clear blue skies and soak up the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Days 28 – 30: Airlie Beach

Airlie Beach is set on a striking peninsula that reaches out into the stunning blue Whitsunday waters. From here enjoy one of the many day trips out to the Whitsundays, do the Whitsunday Great Walk from Brandy Creek to Airlie Beach or take a crocodile watching tour.

Days 31 & 32: Townsville

Townsville is in the dry tropics region of Queensland, adjacent to the central section of the Great Barrier Reef, home to a sea turtle hospital and plenty of other attractions.

Days 33 & 34: Cairns

Days 1 – 5: Sydney

Arrive into Sydney on day 3. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to the Novotel Darling Harbour hotel for a 3 night stay. During your time in Sydney we have included a morning tour of Sydney and a Harbour Cruise including a seafood lunch. The rest of your time is at your leisure allowing you to explore the city as you wish.

Days 6 & 7: Kiama

Pick up your motorhome and travel south on the Princes Highway to the pretty coastal town of Kiama. The town’s name derives from the Aboriginal “kiaram-a”, meaning ‘where the sea makes a noise’ because of the towns blowhole, which shoots water 60 meters into the air.

Days 8 & 9: Batemans Bay

Continue your travels south on the Princes Highway via the scenic Minnamurra Falls for a stroll through the rainforest then back to the coast to visit beautiful Jervis Bay before continuing on to Batemans Bay. On the mouth of the Clyde River, it boasts excellent fishing opportunities and great oysters.

Days 10 & 11: Merimbula

Travel south to Merimbula, the ‘holiday resort’ of the Sapphire Coast and the perfect site for water sports.

Days 12 – 14: Lakes Entrance

Travel via the towns of Bellbird Creek, Orbost and Nowa Nowa today as you make your way to Lakes Entrance, Australia's largest inland water system with spectacular mountains, rivers and forests. The local area is home to dolphins, water birds, kangaroos, wombats and koalas and a short walk across a footbridge brings you to the Entrance and Bass Strait, with Ninety Mile Beach stretching into the distance.

Days 15 – 17: Phillip Island & Melbourne

On your way to Melbourne, stop at Phillip Island the home of the Fairy Penguins and a major wildlife reserve where you can see koalas, fur seals and pelicans. In Melbourne, visit Mornington Peninsula, the area’s best kept secret hosts art and craft markets, antique stores, coastal and bush walks and koala and penguin reserves.

Days 18 & 19: Apollo Bay

Depart Melbourne and travel to Geelong, where you join the Surfcoast Highway to the pretty coastal resort town of Torquay. From here join the Great Ocean Road - one of Australia's most spectacular drives. Your destination for the evening is Apollo Bay, a scenic little fishing port nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Otway Ranges.

Days 20 & 21: Twelve Apostles & Warrnambool

Continue along one of the most famous stretches of the Great Ocean Road, past the famous formations of the Shipwreck Coast to Warrnambool. Along the way we recommend stopping at Port Campbell National Park, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge plus the Twelve Apostles, magnificent limestone stacks rising out of the sea.

Days 22 – 24: Mount Gambier

Head west towards Mount Gambier, on the slopes of an extinct volcano and famous for its striking Blue Lake and the Cave in the centre of the city.

Day 25: Naracoorte

Head inland towards Naracoorte stopping at Coonawarra, one of Australia's finest wine districts. More than 20 Coonawarra wineries have cellar door sales outlets, giving you the opportunity to taste for yourself.

Day 26: Port Willunga

Travel along the Riddoch Highway towards Port Willunga, just south of Adelaide. The soft, sandy beach is overlooked by cliffs where fishermen once carved out caves to store their boats and nets.

Days 5 – 7: Margaret River

Pick up your motorhome and travel via the Tuart Forest National Park to Busselton on the shore of Geographe Bay with its tranquil water, long beaches and sheltered coves. Surfers come from far and wide, and the town is home to many artists and crafts people. There are several wineries nearby, or take a scenic drive through the Bonarup Karri Forest.

Days 8 – 10: Albany

Travel eastwards today visiting the historic mill town of Nannup and the timber town of Pemberton on your way to Albany, home to white sandy beaches and spectacular coastal scenery. The town was once a major whaling town, now whale watching has taken its place to see these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.

Days 11 - 13: Esperance

Follow the South Coast Highway to Esperance, a beautiful coastal town which boasts stunning scenery, white sand and turquoise water. Take the Great Ocean Drive or visit the Cape Le Grand National Park, which is only 56kms from the town centre, to see kangaroos lazing on the beach. Further east is Cape Arid, a popular park for camping, fishing and hiking.

Days 14 – 16: Kalgoorlie

Head north on the Coolgardie Esperance Highway through small outback towns to Australia’s largest inland city and the heart of Australia’s gold mining. Still a thriving mining town, it's a living museum with a vast operational open-pit mine, old mine shaft and the chance to try gold-panning.

Days 17 – 19: Wave Rock

Depart Kalgoorlie early today and head to the town of Hyden, close to Wave Rock in the remote western area of Australia's Golden Outback region. As the name suggests, the rock has the shape of a breaking wave, 110 metres long and 15 metres high.

Days 20 - 21: Fremantle

Make your way back to the coast today and the town of Fremantle, home to a 500-strong fishing fleet and a vast number of yachts and pleasure craft. Visit the historic buildings or go fishing at North Mole.

Days 22 - 23: Fremantle - Perth - UK

You will find many designated areas throughout all states and territories of Australia that allow free or low cost camping, over 4,000 Australia wide. Some councils have an overnight parking area in or near a town, signposted with an ‘RV Friendly’ sign. You’ll find in more remote areas or the outback of Australia, many more areas that allow overnight camping, than along the populated coast. The areas in the outback are often rest areas – keep your eyes open, as some of these have an area which opens up behind the rest area, so you can get further off the road. Sometimes these might be beside a river, or overlooking a nice view.

Holiday Parks and Campgrounds

Holiday parks are equipped to please a wide range of people for a minimal cost and most have attractive landscaped settings, often beside a beach or lake. Most provide sites for tents, caravans and campervans and many also have simple cabins, self-contained motel units and backpackers' lodges too.

Days 11 – 13: Hluhluwe

Continue your journey south and head for Bonamanzi Game Reserve , one of the best birding destinations in Southern Africa. Self-drive, arrange a guided game drive or experience a guided bush walk onto the adjoining False Bay floodplains to explore the area and discover its flora & fauna.

You’ll also enjoy a ‘Hippo and Croc cruise’ giving you the chance to see these water loving animals up close.

Day 14 – 16: KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields

Head inland to an area that boasts the largest concentration of battlefields in South Africa and visit the Isandlwana Battlefield site of the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879.

This beautiful part of South Africa offers scenic landscapes and a range of activities including Rock Art sites, beautiful hiking trails, fishing, horse riding and so much more. Guided excursions can be arranged.

Days 20 & 21: Wild Coast

Stretching over 200 kilometres along one of South Africa’s most pristine, wild and beautiful sections of shoreline, the Wild Coast is renowned for its hidden coves, secluded beaches, and rolling emerald hills.

Days 22 – 24: Morgan Bay

Continue via Port St Johns and Mthata to Yellowwood Forest in Morgan Bay. Whether you prefer long, scenic forest trails or curling up with a good book, Yellowwood Forest has something for everyone.

Days 25 & 26: Addo Elephant Park

Set in the enchanting Eastern Cape Province, Addo Elephant National Park offers an unforgettable safari experience and provides a sanctuary to large numbers of elephant, lion, buffalo, black rhino, spotted hyena, leopard, antelope, zebra and over 400 bird species. Whales and Sharks can also be spotted off the coast of the Algoa Bay.

Days 27 – 29: The Garden Route

Enjoy a day trip to Knysna during your stay here. The town is situated on the banks of a magnificent lagoon, which stretches out to the Indian Ocean between the towering twin peaks known as ‘The Heads’. We’ve included the Featherbed Echo Experience which features a scenic cruise on the Knysna Lagoon, a guided walk in the Featherbed Nature Reserve and lunch under Milkwood trees overlooking the ocean.

Days 30 & 31: Oudtshoorn

Your next destination is known for its ostrich farms and along the Route 62 wine route. To the north, the Cango Caves are a 20-million-year-old network of limestone chambers.

Days 32 – 34: Montagu

From Oudtshoorn travel along Route 62 and make sure you stop at Ronnies Sex Shop near Barrydale. The famous bar is a colourful stop on Route 62 popular with both locals and international visitors.

Days 35 & 36: Cape Town

Your final destination is the stunning city of Cape Town, with the Atlantic Ocean on two sides and Table Mountain dominating the skyline. Drop off your motorhome before being transferred to your hotel.

The next day is at your leisure to explore. In the evening join the group for your farewell dinner, including an interactive drumming session followed by a 14 course set menu dinner with live entertainment throughout the night.

Days 8 & 9: Uis & Twyfelfontein

Continue onto Uis, an unspoilt rural area of Namibia popular due to its unspoilt beauty and wildlife, which includes Desert Elephant, Mountain Zebra, Springbok and Kudu.

Days 15 & 16: Otavi Mountain Region

In the centre of the ‘Golden Triangle’, the towering Otavi Mountains are surrounded by the towns of Otavi, Tsumeb, and Grootfontein. The landscape features golden maize plantations, spectacular dolomite mountains, and underground lakes and activities here include spectacular close-up game viewing, relaxing at the swimming pool or a laid-back sunset around the campfire telling stories under the stars.

Days 17 & 18: Caprivi Region

Today takes you into the Caprivi Strip, between Angola to the north and Botswana to the south, all the way to Zambia in the east. The Mahango Game Park is home to large herds of elephants and buffalos, as well as hippos and crocodiles. Almost all the antelope species living in North-Eastern Namibia can be seen in the park, as well as giraffes, zebras, impalas, lion, leopard and hyena.

Day 19: Caprivi Region to Katima Mulilo

Travel from Caprivi to Namwi on the banks of the Zambezi River, the ideal stop-over to continue our journey through the Caprivi. This area is famous for its birdlife such as the Woodland Kingfisher, African Skimmer and African Woodowls.

Days 20 & 21: Livingstone and Victoria Falls

Cross the border into Botswana today, before parking the motorhomes and being transferred into Zambia and Livingstone, the gateway to Victoria Falls. Take an optional Sunset Zambezi Cruise, or helicopter flight over the falls.

Days 22 & 23: Chobe National Park

Transfer back to Botswana and continue onto Chobe National Park where herds of buffalo and elephant attain legendary proportions. A game drive and a cruise on the Chobe River are included, providing you with the perfect opportunity to see the animals.

Days 24 & 25: Nata and the Makgadikgadi Pan

The pretty little railway town of Touws River, on the fringes of the Klein Karoo, is sandwiched between the Langeberg and the Outeniqua Mountains.

Days 7 – 9: Oudtshoorn

Oudtshoorn is a town in the Klein Karoo area of South Africa’s Western Cape, known for its ostrich farms and is located along the Route 62 wine route. Enjoy a morning tour to an Ostrich Farm where you can learn more about these remarkable birds and their fascinating nature, then in the afternoon continue onto Buffelsdrift Game Lodge where you will meet Jabari, Bulelo and Malaika, three orphan elephants originally from Kruger National Park. Take the opportunity to get close to these giants of the natural world when, as part of their daily routine, you will have the opportunity to brush them.

Days 10 & 11: Camdeboo National Park

As you leave Oudtshoorn behind your journey will take you via Meiringspoort, stop at the beautiful Meiringspoort Waterfall before continuing towards the Karoo region.

Days 12 & 13: Addo Elephant Park

Addo Elephant National Park has expanded to conserve a wide range of biodiversity, landscapes, fauna and flora including herds of elephants. A unique feature is the waterhole lookout point, floodlit at night, within the camp as well as the underground hide, allowing close encounters with wildlife. The evenings are punctuated with the calls of lion, spotted hyena and jackal while francolin and bokmakierie welcome each dawn. You’ll enjoy a half day guided Addo Elephant National Park Safari and share local knowledge about animal identification, the history, vegetation and culture plus plenty of local stories to round off a great tour.

Days 14 – 16: Garden Route

High on the must-see lists of South Africa is the Garden Route, due to the glorious natural beauty, range of topography, vegetation, wildlife and outdoor activities. The coast is dotted with excellent beaches, while inland you’ll find picturesque lagoons and lakes, rolling hills and eventually the mountains of the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma.

Travel through Port Elizabeth, Jeffreys Bay, Storms River and Knysna, taking in the scenery as you go. Be sure to make a stop in Tsitsikamma and visit the Tsitsikamma National Park where you can take a short hike and visit The Big Tree. Continue through the town of Knysna and enjoy an included trip to the Featherbed Nature Reserve.

Days 17 – 19: Whale Coast

Travel to Hermanus, known as the Whale Coast of South Africa, a collection of villages, farms, rivers, bays, coves and valleys. Explore the whales, sharks, wine routes, penguins, hiking trails and adventure activities in this beautiful region.

Days 20 & 21: Cape Winelands

Battlefields

Collect your motorhome and head southeast to the province of KwaZulu Natal, the largest concentration of battlefields in South Africa. The campsite is an excellent base to visit the famous historical monuments.

On day five a specialised guide will accompany you on a tour of the battlefields sharing their knowledge and stories of the Anglo-Zulu War. Day six takes you to the Nambiti Private Game Reserve for lunch followed by a game drive to spot the Big Five.

This morning continue your journey to Ballito. The area is host to a number of sandy beaches and dolphins are frequently spotted surfing the waves of the Indian Ocean. Days 11 & 12: iSimangaliso Wetland Park World Heritage Site

Continue your holiday as you travel to the St Lucia Wetlands region. Cape Vidal is a magnificent coastal holiday destination, set in a sheltered bay in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, with shallow pools and rock ledges for snorkelling, unspoiled beaches for walking and rich coastal forest on the shores of Lake Bhangazi.

On one side are the shores of Lake St Lucia, take a guided drive to see antelope, hippos, crocodiles and buffalo. On the other side lies the wonderful Indian Ocean with its array of marine animals. Mlilwane’s wildlife is amazingly tolerant, allowing for unparalleled memories and photographic moments. Be on the lookout for zebra, wildebeest, nyala and blesbuck, a daily occurrence in the park. On day 16 you’ll have a Swaziland cultural tour and discover the culture and people of Swaziland, take in some of the country’s art and craft attractions and view the local scenery. Days 17 & 18: Kruger National Park

As the name suggests this is a small motorhome perfect for couples but can sleep up to three people. The C-Small motorhome is just over 6 metres long and 2.3 metres wide. It has an automatic gearbox and cruise control plus air conditioning. Features include a fridge, microwave, hob & oven plus a toilet & shower cubicle.

C-Large Motorhome

Sleeping up to five people with one permanent bed and two others that convert during the day, this motorhome has an automatic gearbox, cruise control, air conditioning and a generator. Its approx. 7.5 metres long and 2.5 metres wide and features a power assisted slideout section providing more space when stationery. Facilities included are a fridge, hob, convection oven/microwave and a toilet & shower cubicle.

Adventurer 4 Motorhome

Featuring a cab with four seats separate from the rest of the vehicle the Adventurer includes two slide-out sections providing extra space when you’re not on the road. It sleeps four people, with the option of being able to convert two twin beds into a king size bed, and is just over 9 metres long and 2.6 metres wide. For a 360 degree view of Whistler Village, jump on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola to gaze down over glaciers, lakes and forests.

Day 7: 100 Mile House, British Columbia

Enjoy a scenic drive north along the Cariboo Highway, past Garibaldi Provincial Park and Duffey Lake to 100 Mile House. Founded during the days of the Cariboo Gold Rush, this area is now known for cattle ranching and leisure pursuits.

Days 8 - 9: Jasper National Park

Take a ride on the Jasper Tramway, enjoy a relaxing soak in Miette Hot Springs or go white-water rafting on the Athabasca River. For a more gentle option take a boat cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake, the second-largest glacier fed lake in the world.

Days 10 - 12: Banff National Park

Drive to Banff via the spectacular Icefields Parkway, with the opportunity to venture onto the ice in one of the mammoth Ice Explorer buses. You’ll have three days to explore Canada's oldest park, we recommend a trip to Bow Falls and a ride on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola. Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Minnewanka, or Lake Louise is only a 40 minute drive away.

Days 13 - 14: Revelstoke, British Columbia

Take in the awe-inspiring scenery of Yoho National Park and Canada’s Glacier National Park en route to your overnight stop in the historic mountain town of Revelstoke. If you're up for driving a little further, visit Revelstoke National Park and the ‘Meadows in the Sky’ Parkway. This route rises to an elevation of 1,835 metres as you transcend into a world of spruce, cedar and subalpine wildflower meadows.

Days 15 - 16: Okanagan Valley, British Columbia

Known for its hot, dry climate, you’re now heading back towards the coast, via the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Tour a family-run boutique winery, stretch your legs along one of the 30 lake beaches in the region, or hire bikes and enjoy a gentle ride through the valley.

Days 17 - 18: Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia Travel along Canada’s Crowsnest Highway today. Aim to stop at Princeton, a small town in a beautiful setting which is rich in historical and heritage sites. Then you’re on to the diverse scenery of Manning Provincial Park. Your base for two nights is Harrison Hot Springs, a small mountain community at the southern end of Harrison Lake in the Fraser Valley. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the soothing hot springs, hire a boat on the lake, or take a nature trail into the mountains.

Days 19 & 20: Vancouver, British Columbia

Just enough time to get in some final sightseeing at the impressive 60 metre high waterfall at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park.

Return your motorhome to the depot and take the shuttle to Vancouver Airport for your flight home.

The capital of Ontario is situated along Lake Ontario’s northwestern shore and is an energetic city with an iconic skyline including the CN Tower. Historic St Lawrence Market is a great place to sample delicious Canadian fare and you’ll adore Harbour front Centre, set on the banks of Lake Ontario.

Days 3 – 5: Kingston

Make your way to the motorhome depot for an orientation session before you head off on your adventure along Lake Ontario to Kingston. Take to the water from Kingston and cruise Thousand Islands, a group of small islands scattered along the St Lawrence River.

Days 6 - 8: Montreal

Discover many boroughs which were once independent cities, stroll along the cobbled streets of Old Montreal and sample delicious French cuisine in cosy street cafes. The lively Quartier Latin has interesting architecture and is the spot for nightlife and no visit to Montreal is complete without a visit to Notre-Dame Basilica.

Days 9 – 11: Quebec City area

Canada’s oldest city and the birthplace of French Canada. Old Quebec is a World UNESCO Heritage Site with many walking paths through cobbled, windy streets and along the old fortified wall. Views of the city from the water are also stunning and a leisurely cruise along the St Lawrence River showcases Chateau Frontenac, Cap Diamant, Ile d’Orleans and the cascading Montmorency Falls. Outside the city, explore Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier, one of Quebecs most dazzling glacial valleys.

Days 12 & 13: St Michel des Saints area

Situated on the banks of the immense Lac Taureau , the St Michel des Saints area features a number of resorts, charming inns, beaches and islands. Just under 100 kilometers to the north is the Atikamekw village of Manawan. Close by is Lac Kempt, one of the largest lakes in Quebec.

Days 14 – 16: Algonquin Provincial Park

Explore this outdoor playground by canoe, horseback or on foot and discover pristine wilderness, crystal clear lakes and acres of parklands teeming with moose, loons, black bear and wolves. With over 1,500 lakes, this is an ideal place to try a spot of fishing and be sure to head to the Radio Observatory for some spectacular stargazing.

Days 17 & 18: District of Muskoka

The town of Bracebridge, set around its namesake the cascading Bracebridge Falls, has a delightful downtown worth visiting. Lady Muskoka cruises operate along the Muskoka River and there are plenty of options to take to the water if you like.

Days 19 & 20: Niagara Falls

Straddling the border between Canada and the USA, the three falls move more than 3 tons of water every second and are a must see, get up close with a Hornblower boat trip. Charming Niagara-by the-lake is a great escape from the hustle and bustle and along the way, be sure to sample the local wineries and delicious ice wines.

Days 21 & 22: Toronto

Days 1 & 2: Calgary, Alberta

Steeped in western culture, Calgary is home to ‘The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth’, the annual 10-day Calgary Stampede. Explore lively downtown full of western boutiques, cool restaurants and live music venues from country to jazz. The views from the Calgary Tower Observation Deck are great, or step back in time at the Heritage Park Historical Village.

Days 3 – 5: Banff, Alberta

Transfer to the motorhome depot for an orientation session before you travel to Banff, Canada’s first national park and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The park covers 6,000 square kilometres of unparalleled scenery and is set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. You’ve three full days to discover the wonders of this region including stunning Lake Moraine and Lake Louise.

Days 6 – 8: Jasper, Alberta

Ranked as one of the top scenic drives in the world, the spectacular Icefields Parkway connects Jasper with Lake Louise. The route is lined with more than 100 glaciers, cascading waterfalls and sparkling emerald lakes and a highlight will be a trip on the Athabasca Glacier. Jasper National Park is your home for the next three nights, surrounded by soaring peaks, ancient glaciers and miles of untouched wilderness.

Days 9 & 10: Sunpeaks, British Columbia

Class C 21-23ft Motorhome

This vehicle sleeps up to five people in three beds. One bed is permanent with the others converting when not in use during the day. It features an automatic gearbox, power steering and air conditioning. The bathroom has a toilet, basin and shower and the kitchen is equipped with a hob, microwave and fridge-freezer.

Class C 25-27ft Motorhome

Sleeping up to six people, this motorhome includes one permanent bed with two others converting during the day. It comes with air-conditioning, an automatic gearbox, power steering and an exterior awning. The bathroom has a toilet, basin and shower and the kitchen is equipped with a hob, microwave and fridge-freezer.

Class A 30-32ft Motorhome

A classic American RV - luxurious and amenity-rich, featuring sides that open out for even more space when you’re not driving. Days 1 - 2: San Francisco

San Francisco is your first destination, where you’ll stay in a downtown hotel for the first two nights. On day two, you’ll take a hop-on hop-off bus tour of the city to take in sights such as Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, Lombard Street, Pier 39 and the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. An undoubted highlight of a visit to San Francisco is the chance to explore Alcatraz, home of the notorious island prison. Your holiday includes a return ferry ride to Alcatraz and the award-winning audio tour of the Cell House.

Day 3: Sutter Creek

It’s an early morning transfer to the motorhome depot. Then you can hit the road heading for the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and into the very heart of Gold Rush Country. Sutter Creek is perched on the edge of Wine Country, born from the Gold Rush era, which maintains its quaint atmosphere and charming Main Street.

Days 4 - 5: Lake Tahoe

Often referred to as ‘The Big Blue’, Lake Tahoe straddles the California/Nevada border. Enjoy the scenic 70 mile drive around the lake before arriving in the Zephyr Cove area. From here consider taking a leisurely cruise of the lake on the Queen of Tahoe Mississippi paddle-wheeler or take in the views from above on the Heavenly Gondola. Other options include a gentle hike in the alpine forest or relaxing on the beach by the lake.

Days 6 - 7: Yosemite National Park

Head south today towards Yosemite National Park where some of the world’s most spectacular mountain terrain is protected within its 1,170 square miles of wilderness. View towering granite formations, crystal-clear streams, majestic waterfalls and ancient giant sequoias. You can discover this national park on your own on the YARTS system (Yosemite Regional Area Transport), or perhaps join a ranger-guided tour.

Days 8 - 9: Monterey, California Coast

Head back towards the California coast, the beautiful Monterey Bay and the fairy-tale like village of Carmel-by-theSea. This area is renowned for whale-watching, a short stroll takes you to miles and miles of undeveloped Monterey Bay beachfront begging to be explored.

Days 10 - 11: Big Sur & Santa Barbara, California Coast

Today, you’ll travel along Monterey Bay and on the famous 17 Mile Drive before cruising south on one of the world’s most scenic routes - California Highway 1. This twisting, cliff-hugging, route along the central California coast starts in historic Monterey, and threads through Big Sur, where mountains plunge into the Pacific. Your next two night stop is in the shadow of the Sierra Madre Mountains in an area of the coast known as ‘The American Riviera’.

Days 12 - 13: Beverly Hills, Los Angeles

Carry on your adventure this morning along the scenic California coast and through the Santa Monica Mountains before returning your vehicle in Los Angeles. You’ll be transferred to your 4-star hotel in Beverly Hills where you can enjoy some time by the pool or a stroll along famous Rodeo Drive. On day 13 you’ll take a tour of all the famous sights that Los Angeles has to offer such as Bel-Air, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Sunset Strip and Paramount Studios. Alternatively, you may prefer time on your own to shop, stroll along the famous LA beaches or enjoy a thrilling action-packed day in Universal Studios!

Day 3 - 4: Guernsey, Wyoming

Collect your vehicle, hit the open road and head for Wyoming! You’ll travel in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains as you make your way through spectacular scenery to Guernsey near the Fort. Along the way stop at Cheyenne on the Colorado/ Wyoming border, America’s rodeo capital.

Days 5 - 7: Mount Rushmore, South Dakota

Days 1 – 3: Chicago, Illinois

Chicago is the perfect blend of cosmopolitan city and friendly mid-western town. Discover the city with river boat trip, visit the John Hancock Observatory and Skydeck at Willis Tower, enjoy a mobster tour or walking tour with an ex-Chicago police officer.

Days 4 & 5: Springfield, Illinois

After an orientation session collect your vehicle and set off on your adventure. Stop in Pontiac for the first of many Route 66 museums and the famous murals that depict the history of the region before you reach Springfield. The city is the capital of Illinois and was once home to Abraham Lincoln. Head to the iconic Cozy Dog Drive-In then to the Route 66 Drive-In movie theatre.

Day 6: Lebanon, Missouri

Cruise into Missouri by the historic Martin Luther King Memorial Bridge, St Louis' Gateway Arch is the perfect first stop for spectacular views of the mighty Mississippi River. Lebanon's library is home to a terrific Route 66 Museum then in the evening check out Dowd's Catfish & BBQ stop.

Days 7 & 8: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Stop a Carthage home of the Jasper County Courthouse, featured in the Back to the Future movies, then swing round to Iggy's Diner for a traditional root beer float. Once in Oklahoma City, head to historic Bricktown for live music and mouthwatering BBQ.

Day 9: Amarillo, Texas

Amarillo's downtown historic district is full of antique shops, Wild-West stores and arts galleries. Follow that with a cold beer in the Golden Light Roadhouse with the local cowboys.

Days 10 – 11: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Be sure to stop at Midpoint Café and Gift Shop, the official half way mark of Route 66, for road snacks and souvenirs. Then it’s over the border to New Mexico. Santa Fe is the capital city and the oldest in the USA. Delve into art galleries, visit museums and historic places and enjoy live music in the iconic Santa Fe Plaza in the evenings.

Days 12 & 13: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Albuquerque is home to the longest urban stretch of Route 66 and is brimming with nostalgia. Stroll through Old Town’s narrow streets and old adobe homes for authentic New Mexican eateries and local artisans selling jewellery, rugs and pottery. Take to the sky for views over the city on the Aerial Tramway, learn about the history of the city at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Museum, or visit the International Rattlesnake Museum!

Day 14: Gallup, New Mexico

Just 60 miles west of Albuquerque lies Sky City Cultural Centre which serves as the gateway to the 13th century Pueblo of Acoma, the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in North America. Take a tour with a local guide.

Gallup is the commercial hub of the nearby Navajo reservation and the self-proclaimed Capital of Indian Country, where Route 66 serves as its Main Street. Between May – September you can experience nightly American dance displays.

Days 15 – 16: Williams (Grand Canyon), Arizona

Journey via the Petrified Forest and the iconic Route 66

Wigwam Village. Meteor Crater is a must stop, at least 50,000 years old and nearly a mile-wide. Then it’s on to the historic town of Williams, your base to explore the Grand Canyon.

Days 17 & 18: Las Vegas, Nevada

Viva Las Vegas! Arrive into Nevada via Lake Mead and the impressive Hoover Dam. Then it’s on to the Vegas strip and all its glory. You’ll easily spend two nights exploring this desert phenomenon.

Days 19 – 20: Los Angeles, California

It’s the final leg of your Route 66 adventure through the Mojave Desert, mountains and lush inland valleys before arriving at the Pacific Ocean and the golden beaches of Santa Monica. Round off your adventure with a picture under the Route 66 sign at the official end of the route on Santa Monica Pier.

Except where otherwise specified for all Worldwide Holidays, we, The Caravan Club Limited, a company registered in England with company number 00646027 and registered office address of East Grinstead House, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 1UA trading as The Caravan and Motorhome Club act only as an agent in respect of marketing and promoting the holidays and introducing you to the Supplier/ Principal. We accept no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any travel arrangements or other services you purchase (“Arrangements”) or for the acts or omissions of any supplier or other person(s) or party(ies) connected with any arrangements. For all Arrangements, your contract will be with the supplier of the arrangements in question (the “Supplier/Principal”).

All references to Worldwide Holidays ‘packages’ and ‘package holidays’ on this website, marketing material or in these Agency Terms & Conditions means packages organised by third party Supplier/Principals on whose behalf we act as an agent. All flight-inclusive Worldwide Holidays packages you book will be protected by the ATOL of the Supplier/ Principal organising the package.

Holidays to New Zealand, Australia and Southern Africa are organised by Alan Rogers Travel Ltd t/a/ Caravan and Motorhome Holidays Worldwide whose registered office is East Grinstead House, East Grinstead, RH19 1UA, England and whose ABTA membership numbers are P7119 & Y6434 and ATOL No. 11309 (“Supplier/Principal”).

Holidays to Canada and the USA are organised by Bon Voyage Travel & Tours Limited whose registered office is 16-18 Bellevue Road, Southampton, SO15 2AY, England and whose ABTA membership numbers are 17213 & V6171 and ATOL No. 2931(“Supplier/ Principal”).

We act as an agent on behalf of Alan Rogers Travel Ltd and Bon Voyage Travel & Tours Ltd and will introduce you directly to these Supplier/Principals for you to make your booking directly with them.

By making a booking the first named person on the booking agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that he/she:

a. read these Agency Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them;

b. consents to our use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy which has full information regarding the way in which we use and store your personal data and can be found at https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/privacy-policy and you are authorised on behalf of all persons named on the booking to disclose their personal details to us, including where applicable, special categories of data (such as information on health conditions or disabilities and dietary requirements); and

c. is over 18 years of age and resident in the United Kingdom and where placing an order for services with age restrictions you declare that you and all members of your party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services; d. accepts financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking.

1. Contract

When making your booking we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the applicable Supplier/Principal (e.g. the tour operator) of the Arrangements, as specified on your confirmation invoice. As agent we accept no responsibility for the acts or omissions of the Supplier/Principal or for the services provided by them. Your booking is subject to these Agency Terms and Conditions and the specific terms and conditions of the relevant Supplier/Principal(s) you contract with and you are advised to read both carefully prior to booking. The Supplier/Principal’s booking conditions may limit and/ or exclude the Supplier/Principal's liability to you. Please ask the Supplier/Principal for copies of these if you do not have them. Your booking is confirmed and a contract between you and the Supplier/Principal will exist when they send you confirmation.

2. Booking

Please check that all names, dates and timings are correct on receipt of all documents and advise the Supplier/Principal of any errors immediately. Any changes to these details will incur the charges stated below. Please ensure that the names given are the same as in the relevant passport. The booking information that you provide to us will be passed on only to the relevant Supplier/Principal of your Arrangements or other persons necessary for the provision of your Arrangements.

3. Payment

In order to book your chosen Arrangements, you must pay a deposit as required by the Supplier/Principal of the Arrangements (or full payment if booking within 14 weeks of departure or as requested by the Supplier/Principal). You must also pay all applicable insurance premiums and booking fees.

If you have paid a deposit, you must pay the full balance by the balance due date notified to you. If full payment is not received by the balance due date, the Supplier/ Principal may cancel your booking and charge the cancellation fees set out in their booking conditions.

4. Prices

We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. Special note: changes and errors sometimes occur. You must check the price of your chosen Arrangements at the time of booking.

5. Insurance

Many Supplier/Principals require you to take out travel insurance as a condition of booking with them. In any event, we strongly advise that you take out a policy of insurance in order to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you; the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness; loss of baggage and money; and other expenses. If we have issued your policy please check it carefully to ensure that all the details are correct and that all relevant information has been provided by you (e.g. pre-existing medical conditions). Failure to disclose relevant information will affect your insurance.

6. Special Requests

If you have any special requests (for example dietary requirements, cots or room location), please let the Supplier/Principal know at the time of booking. We can't guarantee that they will be met and we will have no liability to you if they are not.

7. Changes and Cancellations by you

Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to the Supplier/Principal in accordance with their booking terms and conditions. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation of any changes to your booking prior to travel. Amendments and cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Supplier/Principal of your Arrangements. The Supplier/Principal may charge the cancellation or amendment charges shown in their booking conditions (which may be as much as 100% of the cost of the Arrangements and will normally increase closer to the date of departure).

Please note: some Supplier/Principals do not allow changes and therefore full cancellation charges will apply.

8. Changes and Cancellations by the Supplier/Principal

The Supplier/Principal will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if the Supplier/ Principal needs to make a significant change to your confirmed Arrangements or to cancel them. We have no liability to you in these circumstances.

9. Our Responsibility for your Booking

Your contract is with the Supplier/Principal and its booking conditions apply. As agent, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of the Arrangements. We accept no responsibility for any information about the Arrangements that we pass on to you in good faith. However, in the event that we are found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our maximum liability to you is limited to twice the cost of the commission we earn on your booking (or the appropriate proportion of this if not everyone on the booking is affected). We do not exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury that arises as a result of our negligence or that of any of our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.

10. Visa, Passport and Health Requirements

The Supplier/Principal can provide general information about the passport and visa requirements for your trip. Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Neither we nor the Supplier/Principal accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements. Please note that these requirements may change between booking and departure. Most countries now require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. Please take special note that for all air travel within the British Isles, airlines require photographic identification of a specific type. Please ask the Supplier/Principal for full details. They can provide general information about any health formalities required for your trip but you should check with your own doctor for your specific circumstances.

11. Complaints

Because the contract for your Arrangements is between you and the Supplier/Principal, any queries or concerns about your Arrangements should be addressed to them. If you have a problem with your Arrangements whilst using them, this must be reported to the Supplier/Principal immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity for the Supplier/Principal to investigate and rectify your complaint. The amount of compensation you may be entitled to may therefore be reduced or extinguished as a result.

If you wish to complain when you return home, write to the Supplier/Principal. You will see their name and contact details in any confirmation documents we send you. We will of course assist you with this if you wish - please contact us.

You can also access the European Commission Online Dispute (ODR) Resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. This ODR platform is a means of notifying us of your complaint; it will not determine how your complaint should be resolved.

12. Law and Jurisdiction

These Agency Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you can bring proceedings in your local court under Scottish or Northern Irish law, as applicable).

13. Final Travel Arrangements

Please ensure that all your travel, passport, visa and insurance documents are in order and that you arrive in plenty of time for checking in at the airport. It may be necessary to reconfirm your flight with the airline prior to departure. If you fail to reconfirm you may be refused permission to board the aircraft and you are unlikely to receive any refund.

14. Accommodation Ratings and Standards

All ratings are as provided by the relevant Supplier/Principal. These are intended to give a guide to the services and facilities you should expect from your accommodation. Standards and ratings may vary between countries, as well as between suppliers. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of any ratings given.

15. Documentation & Information

All descriptions and content on our website or otherwise issued by us is done so on behalf of the Supplier/Principal in question and are intended to present a general idea of the services provided by the Supplier/Principal. Not all details of the relevant services can be included on our website. All services shown are subject to availability. If you require any further details, in respect of any Arrangements or any other services please contact us.

16. Financial Protection

All the package holidays sold by the Supplier/Principal come with protection for your money. If you buy a single travel service then this might not apply. Package holidays are protected by the package organiser (which will be the Supplier/Principal) and they will provide you with their confirmation. When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive holiday from them you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.
