WHAT IS THE RISE FELLOWSHIP? The RISE Fellowship is designed for early career individuals looking for impactful leadership development opportunities to propel their careers. During the program, RISE Fellows gain an understanding of how mission-driven, social impact organizations function, develop essential leadership and professional skills, and engage in mentoring relationships and networking. The RISE Fellowship includes: Monthly seminars, all of which deeply integrate the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, that explore career development, build knowledge about the social impact sector, cover essential leadership skills, and introduce the fundamentals of design-thinking. Networking conversations with a diverse network of other nonprofit and social impact professionals to provide opportunities for connection, collaboration, and building social capital. One-on-one mentorship with a social impact professional during the program. Individualized coaching with INP Faculty to engage in action-oriented problemsolving for workplace based situations. Peer learning with groups that meet regularly to work on skill development, offer mutual support, and expand upon workshop topics together. Access to additional resources through INP’s active and diverse network. This includes learning from other equity-driven leaders including current students, alumni, faculty members, community partners, and funders. Applications for our Spring RISE Fellowship Program are being accepted on a rolling basis. The RISE Fellowship will be held virtually from January 2024 to June 2024. Our geographic priorities for the Spring 2024 cohort will be Boston, New York City, and Western New York.

FASPE is an intensive, two-week study program in professional ethics and ethical leadership. FASPE is neither a Holocaust studies course, nor a genocide prevention program. Rather, the curriculum is designed to challenge Fellows to critically examine constructs, current developments and issues that raise ethical concerns in their professions in contemporary settings in which they work. FASPE Seminary challenges its Fellows to recognize their responsibility to exercise ethical leadership in their clerical and pastoral careers. FASPE begins by examining the actions and choices of German and international clergy in enabling and supporting Nazi policies. FASPE then draws on this historical example to help Seminary Fellows grasp their role and responsibility as individuals with influence in their communities and to lead them to identify and confront the ethical issues currently facing clergy of all faiths. Each year, FASPE Seminary awards fellowships to 14 to 16 individuals pursuing, or recent graduates of, graduate-level religious training at divinity schools, seminaries, chaplaincy programs or other related institutions. Fellows spend two weeks in Berlin and Poland, where they visit key sites of Nazi history and participate in daily seminars led by specialized faculty. The program couples the power of place with academic rigor and many informal opportunities for creative exchange. What are the 2024 Program dates? The Western District Conference of Mennonite Church USA is inviting any Mennonite, Anabaptist, or Anabaptist-curious students with a strong peace theology who will be graduating soon, and alumni who are seeking ministry opportunities. The John M. Belk Impact Fellowship is a 10-month (August-May), paid program that provides hands-on experience for students currently enrolled in community college, undergraduate, or graduate programs in North Carolina. Building on the success of the John M. Belk Scholarship program, and the belief that talent is universal but opportunity is not, the Fellowship serves as a training ground for future generations of social impact leaders. To gain exposure to the inner workings of organizations playing a variety of critical roles across North Carolina’s education landscape, Fellows could be placed at organizations such as nonprofits, education systems and institutions, and philanthropy. Fellows will deepen their experience across a wide array of focus areas, build relationships with one another and with education leaders, and gain marketable skills towards future employment. Applications open November 13, 2023 for the 2024-2025 Cohort! The application deadline is March 13, 2024. We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis, so applying before the deadline is encouraged!
