In Loving Memory of Quinton Lester Jr.

Page 1

To my parents, thank you for your love, Your strength became my shield each day. To my siblings, keep on dreaming Stay bold and never look away.

To my grandmother, soft and steady, Your warmth was always home to me

To my aunts, uncles, cousins, and all who loves me You are my roots, my family tree.

To my love, Bestfriend, and friends, you always saw The joy in every step I took Thank you for standing by my side, For every laugh, for every look

Though I have journeyed on ahead, My love remains, it’s never gone. In every heart I leave behind, My spirit softly carries on

So when you speak my name, smile wide, Let memories be warm and true. For every bond we ever shared, Lives on in each of you.

Celebrating A Beautiful Life

Quinton Lamar Lester Jr , beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and quiet strength Born on May 6, 2007, to Raeshawn Davis and Quinton Lamar Lester Sr., Quinton was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him.

A proud student of Tri-Cities High School, Quinton was known for his kind spirit, thoughtful nature, and deep passion for the things he loved most He found joy and inspiration in the vibrant worlds of anime and gaming, with shows like Naruto and Dragon Ball Z capturing his imagination and inspiring him through their themes of perseverance, loyalty, and strength

Quinton was also a dedicated member of the ROTC program at Tri-Cities, where he stood out for his discipline and leadership. He had dreams of joining the military after graduation eager to serve his country and build a future defined by purpose and commitment

Those who knew Quinton remember him as a young man with a gentle heart and a bright mind someone who brought laughter to quiet moments and calm to stressful ones He carried himself with quiet determination, touched others with his kindness, and made a lasting impression through both his words and his actions.

Though his time with us was far too short, Quinton’s impact will live on through the lives he touched

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Lester, and his maternal grandfather, John Wesley Davis Sr

He is survived by his loving parents, Raeshawn Davis and Quinton Lamar Lester Sr. (Mechelle); his brothers, Javel Hardnett (Dayjah), John Davis (Anna), and Phyrliss Clark; his sisters, Lynn Davis, London Davis, Denisha Rucker, and Chyna Lester; his grandmother, Lynda Davis; his loving girlfriend, Jamya Brooks; his bestfriend, Jamel Rhodes-Jackson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends who will carry forward his memory with love, pride, and unwavering affection.

Quinton’s life reminds us to treasure the passions that bring us joy, pursue our dreams boldly, and hold our loved ones close. His story though brief is one of inspiration, heart, and the lasting power of a beautiful soul.

"Push through the pain. Giving up hurts more."
Vegeta, Dragon Ball Z

In quiet strength, you walked your path, With dreams too big for walls to hold A warrior’s heart, a steady laugh, A gentle soul, yet fierce and bold.

In pixel worlds and ink-drawn skies, You saw more than just a game

You saw a place where courage thrives, Where heroes rise and earn their name

"Push through the pain," Vegeta said, "Giving up hurts more than fight"

And Quinton, you lived by those words, Choosing growth instead of flight.

Through every trial, you stood tall, With eyes on goals not yet in sight

You found joy in Everything, In stories filled with fire and light

"When you give up, that’s when the game ends," A coach once said, and so it's true.

But you, dear Quinton, played with heart And taught us all what strength can do

So now we hold your legacy, A beacon through both joy and pain. Your spirit lives in all you’ve touched , In every storm, we’ll stand again

You pushed through pain, you never gave in, You played the game with soul and grace

Now rest, brave heart, your fight is done

But your light still shines in this place.
