C A M PA I G N CHAIR Happy New Year! I am pleased to offer some good news to start 2022 by providing an update on the In This Together Campaign for a new chemotherapy unit for the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. As a funding partner, I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to you for your generosity and commitment to this project. You made it possible to build this $6.5 million dollar state of the art chemotherapy unit – so this is very much a shared success with all of our partners.
2022. The Cancer Care Team will oversee the physical move of the unit and orientation with a goal of having the unit operational and open to patients in Summer 2022. We look forward to welcoming you to the new unit for the Grand Opening. In the meantime, we really wanted to be able to show you the progress that has been made on the construction of the new unit. Thanks to you, patients will receive their treatment in a warm, welcoming space with natural light, beautiful decor and comfortable furnishings for those long treatment days. I was able to take a tour of the new unit with CBC in December and I was thrilled with how it is coming together.
