Community Support Fund 2021 Evaluation Report
Executive Summary
CREation’s Community Support Funding (CSF) supported various forms of knowledge sharing between Indigenous youth and their communities. Grantee’s projects mainly focused on cultural revitalization and involved a diverse range of activities including: sharing teachings, arts and crafts, and wellness workshops. Youth leaders felt that CSF funding was primarily helpful with funding their project supplies. Grantee’s projects increased learning opportunities for Indigenous youth. Youth leaders experienced some difficulties with organizing their projects but were able to persevere with clear communication among other strategies.
