Welcome to the recently elected Canadian Parking Association Board of Directors. Bienvenue au conseil d’administration nouvellement élu de l’Association canadienne du stationnement.

Engineers I began my career at RJC in 1992 designing new structures and in 2004, shifted my focus to parking planning and restoration of existing buildings and parkades. With this renewed interest, I joined a number of my colleagues as a member of the CPA. With the CPA annual conference being in Vancouver that year, I volunteered for the organizing committee. That provided a great opportunity to meet other local members of the CPA. I felt so welcome and was inspired by the group. Since that time, I’ve been fortunate to attend every annual conference, chair the Pacific Chapter, and learn so much from the other professionals in the association. I’m honoured to be elected to the Board of Directors to represent the Consultants sector and look forward to serving members during my term. This will provide me an opportunity to support the Association, share some of the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years and help guide and support the CPA’s various initiatives. n n n n
Ma carrière a débuté chez RJC en 1992, où je concevais de nouvelles structures. Puis en 2004, je me suis orientée vers la planification des stationnements et la remise en état des bâtiments et garages de stationnement existants. Cet intérêt renouvelé m’a poussé à me joindre à un bon nombre de mes collègues comme membre de l’ACS. Puisque le congrès annuel de l’ACS se tenait à Vancouver cette année-là, je me suis portée volontaire pour faire partie du comité organisateur. Ceci m’a donné une belle occasion de rencontrer d’autres membres locaux de l’ACS. Le groupe m’a fait sentir si bien accueillie et m’a inspiré. Depuis cette expérience, j’ai eu la chance de me présenter à chaque congrès annuel, présider la section pacifique de l’Association, et d’apprendre beaucoup des autres professionnels de l’Association. C’est un honneur pour moi d’être élue au conseil d’administration pour représenter le secteur des consultants et j’ai hâte d’offrir mes services aux membres de l’association pendant mon mandat. J’aurai l’occasion de soutenir l’Association, partager une partie des connaissances que j’ai acquises au fil des années, et aider à guider et à supporter les diverses initiatives de l’ACS. n
