Easter is a cultural holiday where those who practice the Christian faith, celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion. This holiday is also observed by non Christians and is celebrated through family gatherings, enjoying a nice meal for brunch or dinner, and can include participating in activities such as painting Easter eggs.
Easter eggs are then hidden (mostly by The Easter Bunny) all over for children to uncover as a nod to German tradition, which came to America in the 1700s.
Easter is also a time to commemorate the Spring Equinox, as many animals are starting to come out of their deep Winter slumber, and the growing season is about to begin. Easter is a moveable holiday and always occurs on the first Sunday after the Paschal full moon (a moon that occurs on after the Spring Equinox).

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim year, during which strict fasting is observed from sunrise to sunset.
Fasting is one of Islam’s pillars. It’s the act of not eating, drinking or smoking from dawn until sunset during the 30 days that Ramadan last. (March 10th - April 9th)
The end of Ramadan is celebrated with Eid al-Fitr (“The feast of fast-breaking”), a three days Muslim festival.
