Covid-19 Community Safety Reminders:
Centennial place mandates that masks be worn in all spaces outside your suite. this includes corridors/ hallways, public restrooms, amenity spaces (laundry room, grab & go, main lounge).
Physical-distancing is being enforced; please stay six (6) feet away from others if you will be together for prolonged periods (15 minutes or longer).
The "no guests" policy is being strictly monitored, in order to mitigate potential case transmission through the residence. please do your part to protect your neighbours.
Remember to perform regular self-assessments (gauge your health, wash hands frequently, practice strong personal hygiene, etc.). if you feel sick, please notify us!

Easy Overnight Oats
Ingredients
For the plain, base oatmeal: ½ cup rolled old fashioned oats, ½ cup milk of choice, ¼ cup non-fat Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice honey or maple syrup & 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Apple Pie Toppings add: 1/4 cup diced apples, 1 tablespoon pecans chopped, 2 teaspoons maple syrup & ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
For Banana Nutella Toppings add: ½ banana sliced, 1 tablespoon Nutella, 1 tablespoon hazelnuts crushed & 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
Directions
1) Place all ingredients into a large glass container and mix until combined.
2) Cover the glass container with a lid or plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight. Toppings can be added the night before or immediately before serving.
3) Uncover and enjoy from the glass container the next day. Thin with a little more milk or water, if desired.

Owned by Jay Soule, an Indigenous artist from the Thames First Nation's Chippewas, Chippewar offers graphic t-shirts, sweatshirts, raglans, tank tops, hoodies, hats, prints and stickers. Soule is a painter who designs and sells Indigenous culturerelated clothing online and from their Toronto store.

PACHA INDIGENOUSART COLLECTION
An indigenous (Kichwa) family owned store based in Toronto, Pacha Indigenous Art Collection supports Indigenous artists from North and South America. They also make fine-made porcupine jewellery and other accessories. You can purchase items from their store or online.

THE CEDAR BASKET
Located in the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto (NCCT), the Cedar Basket Gift Shop offers products like accessories, decorative, medicine, jewelry and musical instruments handcrafted by First Nations, Métis and Inuit. You can visit their shop at the NCCT or online.

TRIBAL TRADE
Owned by Mallory Graham, a member of the Anishnaabek nation of Curve Lake First Nation - Tribal Trade is located in Curve Lake, Ontario. You can visit their store or online to purchase products like moccasins, clothing, accessories and native gifts.

POW WOW CAFE
Owned by Indigenous chef Shawn Adler, Pow Wow Café is Toronto's ONLY restaurant specializing in Pow Wow cuisine. Located in the heart of Kensington Market, they are best known for their tacos on Ojibway-style frybread!

MEKAYLA DIONNE

Mekayla Dionne is an emerging Métis artist who recently graduated from OCAD University. Mekayla produces abstract paintings in which she explores colour relationships, composition, and layering. ARCHER PECHAWIS

Performance artist, new media artist, filmmaker, writer, curator and educator Archer Pechawis has been a practicing artist since 1984 with particular interest in the intersection of Plains Cree culture and digital technology, merging "traditional" objects such as hand drums with digital video and audio sampling. ANGE LOFT
Ange is an interdisciplinary performing artist and initiator from Kahnawake Kanienkehaka Territory, working in Toronto. She is an ardent collaborator, consultant, facilitator and mentor working in storyweaving, arts based research, wearable sculpture and Haudenosaunee history. Ange is also a vocalist with the Juno and Polaris nominated band YAMANTAKA//SONIC TITAN.
ARIA EVANS

Aria Evans is an award winning, Toronto-based queer, interdisciplinary artist working in dance; creation, performance and film. She draws on her experiences as a woman of mixed race (Afro-Indigenous, settler) as well as her BFA (2012) to capture meaningful social and cultural themes through her interactive art. MEET NICOLE

My name is Nicole Huynh and I am the Residence Life Coordinator here at Centennial Place. I was born and raised in Toronto. I enjoy working in Residence Life because of the opportunity to create a supportive environment for a diversity of students. I am excited to meeting and getting to know everyone here. I can't wait to see you all at upcoming community events!
I have a younger sister and we are very close to each other. I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Environment & Business at the University of Waterloo. I am interested in Waste Management - so if you ever want to talk about recycling, come to me!
My favourite hobbies outside of work is riding my scooter, helping my mom cook (she makes the best food), listening to music, gardening (I am currently growing bok choy), taking sunset walks and playing online games with my friends (I love playing Overcooked! and Among Us)
