COVID RESTRICTIONS UPDATES:
On February 14, 2022, the Government of Ontario announced that continued improvement in public health indicators means that COVID-related restrictions can be relaxed ahead of schedule. The first major changes have already taken effect in Ontario and are to be followed by further easing on March 1, 2022.
We are cautiously excited to announce that after two years of occupancy limits and restrictions Parkside will be able to reopen much of our spaces and amenities to their full potential. Please understand that these policies are subject to change and will continue to evolve pending updates on regulations provided by the Ontario Government.
Amenities:
We are pleased to announce the removal of occupancy limits and Amenity booking system in our amenity spaces as of March 1, 2022. All amenities will return to their designed capacity.
Fitness Facilities:
Our fitness facilities will return to full occupancy limits accessible 24 hours a day with your access card.
Mask Policy:
We all are excited to get back to a normal routine, yet we all must continue to follow health officials’ guidance and COVID-19 related procedures.
As of March 1, 2022, Ontario has NOT lifted the mask mandate. As such we are all still required to continue to wear a mask.
This will apply throughout Parkside, including when leaving your room and traveling throughout the building. This is especially important when interacting with staff, in elevators, and in all indoor public settings.
Please continue to make use of our sanitization stations located throughout our property.
Guests:
We are pleased to announce the removal of our guest restriction. Effective March 1st, you will be able to welcome up to 5 guests. Guest must be signed in with security and be with you at all times during their visit.
Guest must comply with all property rules and regulations. To avoid unnecessary inconveniences, we recommend all residents review the guest and other community policies available here.
Dining Hall:
You are now able to welcome guests to the cafeteria. Your guest will need to purchase a meal pass at the cafeteria and adhere to the cafeteria etiquette as outlined in our resident handbook.
Pricing is available at the cafeteria for reference.
Ongoing Awareness:
Protecting yourself and your community from spreading COVID-19 is everyone’s responsibility. Should you have questions about the virus, call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 or your local public health unit.
If you require self-isolation. We ask that you:
