Dear Residents, Congratulations, you’ve made it through your first month of classes! We hope you are enjoying your experience at Parkside so far and have made some new friends, attended events, and explored the city. As we enter October, course work will start to increase as we head into midterm season. Remember to take some time to relax and recharge. Schedule out your study breaks, hang out with friends, or simply watch an episode of your favourite TV show. This month Parkside will host Thrive week! Our mental health awareness week with events, activities, and information all about mental health and mental health awareness. Flip to page 6 to see all the Thrive week events coming this month! As a Parkside resident, you have access to an amazing student assistant program called Aspiria. This app includes free in-person or virtual counseling sessions in Toronto with minimal wait times. Flip to page 7 for more details. You will encounter some new challenges this year. Remember you are not alone, there are many recourses available to help you along the way.
