Your Res Life journey starts now! Start a group chat and talk about suite arrangements, shared items (like kitchen supplies or boot mats), and move-in plans. You’ll avoid bringing duplicates—and it’s a great way to break the ice!
Talk to your roommates before you move-in about common items you can share. For example, you may not want to end up with 4 sets of boot mats!
See the “What to Bring” section of this Guide for some suggestions on what to pack.
Bring the necessities only!
Remember, your room is already furnished!
We provide fully furnished accommodations, so some items are restricted. Please refer to your handbook as items such as couches, mattresses, and other soft furnishings will not be permitted.
Roommate Agreement
Once you’ve moved in, you’ll find a Roommate Agreement in your Welcome Package. This form must be completed with your roommates and submitted to your Floor RA within the first two weeks. You can keep a copy for your own reference. It’s a great way to set expectations and create a respectful living space from the start.

Start the year on the right foot with your roommates! You can surprise them with a welcome gift, and attend the Welcome Week events. Don't forget to establish your unit rules in the Roommate Agreement, and remember that communication is key!

Centennial Place Staff will be communicating with you through different various means to share important notices, building updates, Res Life events, and more!
