Our immense gratitude to all of the Folks that have confidently invested in Count Ridge Bulls! We have been blessed to see these Bulls go to herds where they have enhanced profitability and provided long-lasting genetic punch that thrives in down-to-earth conditions.

The past 45 years we have carefully chosen cattle and DEVELOPED our herd based on conformation and temperament, as well as genetics and performance numbers. Many of our repeat customers, fellow breeders and employees have commented favorably on the user-friendly nature of animals from our herd.

The Yearling Bulls on offer this year represent this selective breeding. The fieldtested-genetics they are packing have placed them above breed average in most traits! On feed since early October, they have been chosen for this year’s sale by frequent appraisals of their gain, development and overall performance. They are fed to bring out their best potential but are not fitted to be “show bull dumplings�, which would potentially jeopardize their physical health, longevity and breeding capability.

Included this year we will be have open Registered Red Angus Yearling heifers. They are not included in the catalog so please phone George for more information.

All cattle will have a sale day weight. This catalogue includes relevant data to eliminate any uncertainties and to help with your selection.

Terms and Sale Conditions: Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or check.

Settlement is to be made immediately after the completion of the sale. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. All settlements must be made with a clerk of sale before any cattle will be released. All monies in Canadian funds.

Disputes: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer's decision on all disputes is final.

Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to any such announcements.

Purchaser's Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as it is sold. Insurance is available if desired.

Certificate of Registration: Each registered animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.

Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the manager or consignors, nor the auctioneer assume any responsibility in this matter and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property.

Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk and sellers assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents occurring in, on, or about the premises, Breeder's Guarantee: All animals sold have passed a semen evaluation. Any animal that has not proven itself a breeder within six months after date of sale may be returned to the seller at the buyer's expense, if in healthy condition. The seller reserves the privilege of trying for a period of six months to prove the animal a breeder. The seller, at his option, may replace the animal with another of equal quality in full settlement. Should this not be possible, an adjustment will be made to reflect the value of the bull in question or a credit will be given toward the purchase of another bull. Any complaints regarding breeding difficulties must be reported in writing by the buyer to the seller within the specified time above, and any animal returned must be free from disease and in good health.

5 – have four consecutive natural born calves registered and a weaning weight ratio that averages over 105.

6 – be in a contemporary group with no less than 10 herd mates to determine wean weight ratio.

The Cow must….

1 – be enrolled in the CAPP. 2 – have a calf with a 205-day weight recorded within the past 18 months.

3 – have a calf within 1000 days of her date of birth.

4 – maintain a regular calving interval, calving within 395 days consecutively.

5 – have four consecutive natural born calves registered and a weaning weight ratio that averages over 105.

6 – be in a contemporary group with no less than 10 herd mates to determine wean weight ratio.

Once a cow is designated an Elite Cow, she is always an Elite Cow.

Our immense gratitude to all of the Folks that have confidently invested in Count Ridge Bulls! We have been blessed to see these Bulls go to herds where they have enhanced profitability and provided long-lasting genetic punch that thrives in down-to-earth conditions.

The past 45 years we have carefully chosen cattle and DEVELOPED our herd based on conformation and temperament, as well as genetics and performance numbers. Many of our repeat customers, fellow breeders and employees have commented favorably on the user-friendly nature of animals from our herd.

The Yearling Bulls on offer this year represent this selective breeding. The fieldtested-genetics they are packing have placed them above breed average in most traits! On feed since early October, they have been chosen for this year’s sale by frequent appraisals of their gain, development and overall performance. They are fed to bring out their best potential but are not fitted to be “show bull dumplings�, which would potentially jeopardize their physical health, longevity and breeding capability.

Included this year we will be have open Registered Red Angus Yearling heifers. They are not included in the catalog so please phone George for more information.

All cattle will have a sale day weight. This catalogue includes relevant data to eliminate any uncertainties and to help with your selection.

Terms and Sale Conditions: Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or check.

Settlement is to be made immediately after the completion of the sale. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. All settlements must be made with a clerk of sale before any cattle will be released. All monies in Canadian funds.

Disputes: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer's decision on all disputes is final.

Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to any such announcements.

Purchaser's Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as it is sold. Insurance is available if desired.

Certificate of Registration: Each registered animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.

Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the manager or consignors, nor the auctioneer assume any responsibility in this matter and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property.

Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk and sellers assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents occurring in, on, or about the premises, Breeder's Guarantee: All animals sold have passed a semen evaluation. Any animal that has not proven itself a breeder within six months after date of sale may be returned to the seller at the buyer's expense, if in healthy condition. The seller reserves the privilege of trying for a period of six months to prove the animal a breeder. The seller, at his option, may replace the animal with another of equal quality in full settlement. Should this not be possible, an adjustment will be made to reflect the value of the bull in question or a credit will be given toward the purchase of another bull. Any complaints regarding breeding difficulties must be reported in writing by the buyer to the seller within the specified time above, and any animal returned must be free from disease and in good health.
