OCTOBER 2026 CANADA CARTAGE CELEBRATES DRIVER APPRECIATION WEEK CELEBRATING NORMAND LIMOGES: AMTA DRIVER OF THE MONTH ANDREW CREE NAMED 2026 TORONTO ORBIE FINALIST CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF JETCO

CANADA CARTAGE AND THE GTI GROUP RECOGNIZED AMONG NORTH AMERICA’S LEADING 3PLS IT ALL BEGINS WITH SAFETY

WHY REPORTING INJURIES MATTERS A safe workplace starts with looking out for ourselves and one another. That’s why it’s important to report all workplace injuries, even those that seem minor at the time. A small cut, strain, insect sting or other minor injury may not seem significant, but symptoms can sometimes develop or worsen later. Reporting an injury promptly helps ensure you receive the appropriate care and support, whether that means first aid, medical attention, or simply monitoring how you’re feeling. Reporting also allows us to understand what happened. By identifying potential hazards, addressing concerns and sharing what we learn, we can help prevent similar incidents and create a safer environment for everyone. Prompt reporting also ensures an accurate record of when and where an injury occurred, which can matter if symptoms change or medical treatment is needed later. Safety Is Something We Share Speaking up about an injury isn’t about assigning blame—it’s about making sure people are supported and allowing us to learn and improve. Every report helps us better understand risks and strengthen how we work. If you are injured at work, tell your supervisor or safety representative as soon as possible, no matter how minor the injury may seem. When in doubt, report it. Looking out for yourself helps us look out for everyone. WWW.CANADACARTAGE.COM

CELEBRATING NORMAND LIMOGES: AMTA DRIVER OF THE MONTH Congratulations to Normand Limoges of our Rocky View, Alberta team, who was named the Alberta Motor Transport Association’s (AMTA) June 2026 Driver of the Month! Normand’s recognition is especially meaningful given the career he has built with our organization over more than three decades. He joined Canada Messenger in March 1994 and continued to grow his career as the company evolved into Direct Integrated Transport and ultimately became part of Canada Cartage. Along the way, Normand worked as a traffic coordinator before becoming an LCV driver in 2001. His journey is a great example of the experience, commitment and expertise our long-standing team members bring to Canada Cartage every day. To celebrate the achievement, AMTA visited our Canada Cartage operation and produced a video highlighting Normand, his career and his contribution to the industry. Congratulations, Normand, on this well-deserved recognition—and thank you for more than 32 years of dedication, professionalism and service!

CELEBRATING LEADERSHIP: ANDREW CREE NAMED 2026 TORONTO ORBIE FINALIST Congratulations to Andrew Cree, Chief Information Officer at Canada Cartage, on being named an Enterprise Finalist in the 2026 Toronto ORBIE Awards, recognizing technology leadership and innovation. The recognition highlights the work Andrew and the broader IT team have undertaken to strengthen and modernize technology across Canada Cartage, including improvements in system reliability, cybersecurity, governance, automation and digital capabilities. As part of this transformation, core application and system uptime has improved to about 99.9%, helping our teams stay connected and supporting the work we do for our customers every day. Technology transformation is ultimately about people: providing employees with reliable systems, better tools and more effective ways to work. This recognition reflects not only Andrew’s leadership, but also the collaboration and commitment of the teams helping move Canada Cartage forward. Congratulations to Andrew and our IT team on this well-deserved recognition!

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF JETCO This year marks an exciting milestone for a member of the broader Canada Cartage family as Jetco celebrates its 50th anniversary. Today, Jetco is part of The GTI Group, and its story reflects what generations of employees have built through their skills, experience, and commitment. As we celebrate this milestone, we recognize the people — past and present —who have helped shape Jetco over the last 50 years. Congratulations to the entire Jetco team on 50 years!

MAKE AI WORK BETTER FOR YOU As AI tools become part of everyday work, learning to use them effectively can save time, reduce repetitive tasks, and make it easier to get the information you need. If you regularly use an approved AI assistant such as Microsoft Copilot, you may find yourself giving it the same directions again and again: “Keep it concise”, “use bullet points”, or “highlight the key decisions”. The key is to make your instructions practical and specific. Instead of simply saying “be helpful,” consider instructions such as: “Use clear, simple language” “Highlight decisions, action items and next steps” “Assume Canadian transportation terminology unless I say otherwise” “When I describe a delay, explain the impact on transit time first, followed by available options” Other AI tools may offer similar personalization features, though settings and capabilities can vary. Use AI Responsibly Personalizing an AI tool can make it more useful, but it doesn’t change our responsibilities when using AI at work. Always follow Canada Cartage policies and guidelines, use only approved tools for company information, and never enter confidential, sensitive or restricted information into an AI tool unless it has been specifically approved for that purpose. And remember: AI-generated information can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying the output before you use or share it. Build Your AI Skills One Step at a Time You don’t need to become an AI expert overnight. Experimenting with features, improving your prompts and learning what works for your role are all ways to build confidence and capability over time. A few minutes spent setting up an AI assistant around the way you work can mean less repetition, more useful responses and more time to focus on the work that needs your expertise.

DEALS ON WHEELS: GM Did you know that Canada Cartage employees have access to GM Preferred Pricing? Through our relationship with General Motors, one of CCLS’s largest customers, employees can access preferred pricing on eligible new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. To take advantage of the program, visit GMPreferredPricing.ca and register using Canada Cartage or company code 945916. Once registered, you can explore eligible vehicles and request an authorization number. When you’re ready to purchase, bring your authorization number and proof of employment, such as a recent pay stub or letter from HR, to a participating GM dealer. It’s one more benefit available to our employees—and potentially a great way to save on your next vehicle. WWW.CANADACARTAGE.COM

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS October 10 is World Mental Health Day, an opportunity to remind ourselves that mental wellbeing is an important part of our overall health, and something worth paying attention to throughout the year. Mental wellbeing doesn’t mean feeling positive or stress-free all the time. We all experience demanding days, busy periods and challenges both at work and in our personal lives. Looking after our mental health starts with recognizing how we’re feeling, understanding what helps us recharge and knowing when it may be time to reach out for support. Sometimes, the simplest things can help. Getting enough rest, staying active, spending time outdoors, eating regularly and making time for people and activities we enjoy can all contribute to our wellbeing. Staying connected matters too. A conversation with a friend, family member or colleague can provide perspective, encouragement or simply a chance to be heard. Looking Out for One Another Supporting wellbeing also means paying attention to the people around us. You don’t need to have the right words or all the answers. Sometimes asking, “How are you doing?” and genuinely taking the time to listen can make a meaningful difference. The same consideration we extend to others matters when we extend it to ourselves. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unusually irritable, exhausted or simply not quite yourself, don’t ignore those signals. Give yourself permission to take a break, connect with someone you trust or seek additional support when you need it. We all contribute to a healthy workplace through everyday actions, checking in with one another, treating people with empathy and respect, and recognizing that everyone may be carrying something we can’t see. Mental health is part of our overall health. Let’s continue to look after ourselves—and one another.
