FALL DRIVING HAZARDS Fall is one of the busiest seasons for the trucking industry. Fall is a busy time when businesses stock up on goods for the winter and upcoming celebrations. Fall also brings unique driving hazards. Here are some tips that will help truck drivers navigate the road safely this fall: Watch out for the wildlife Deer are more active as it is their mating season and are more active at dusk and dawn. Be on the lookout for deer eye shine caused by the headlights. Don't swerve. It may jackknife your truck and trailer or cause it to roll over. Adjust for weather changes Poor weather conditions like fog, rain, and wind pose challenges to trucking safety. Don't let changes in the weather catch you off guard. As the temperature drops, frosted windshields in the morning will become commonplace. Clear frost off your truck's windshields, mirrors, and other components before heading out. WWW.
