Canada Day celebrations in Camrose will begin early tomorrow at the Camrose and District Centennial Museum grounds with a hearty Big Bear Pancake Breakfast offered from 8:00 until 10:45 a.m. Mascots will be roaming around the pancake breakfast and the museum grounds to entertain and for photo availability. Museum attractions will be open to the public throughout the day. Food trucks will be serving their very best all day long. Afternoon and evening entertainment on stage will be plentiful. You won’t want to miss the educational opportunity of Powwow! Ohcîwin The Origins touring exhibit. Drum together with communities across Canada in a powerful simultaneous drumming experience with the National Congress of Chinese Canadians (NCCC) community performers. Audience participants receive a free drum while quantities last. Experience cheongsam fashion, Tai Chi, dragon and lion dances and martial arts on the Browns Socialhouse Afternoon Stage. And fireworks will be back. Don’t miss this impressive display – a perfect cap to round out July 1, and to recognize how fortunate we all are to live in a country full of opportunity, respect and values.
