Hay Lakes will be the place to be on August 22 as the Hay Lakes & District Agricultural Society hosts a Family Fun Day and Summer Market, bringing a full day of activities, food and local vendors to the community. The event will showcase more than 40 local vendors and artisans, giving visitors a chance to browse a variety of local goods and products. Families can head to the giant kids’ play zone, which will feature a bubble station and inflatables for children of all ages. A full concession will also be serving breakfast and lunch throughout the event. For those looking for something sweet, food trucks will be on site offering ice cream, mini doughnuts, Dippin’ Dots and popcorn. But that’s not all! Throughout the day, a car display will take place giving everyone a chance to explore some exceptional automotive work. Visitors will also have a chance to win a prize basket filled with specialty items from local vendors. Family Fun Day and Summer Market will take place at Hay Lakes Agriplex from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
