On Saturday, May 9th, starting at 10 a.m. walkers and runners, serious and casual alike, led by head cheerleader mascot Ole Uffda, will leave Stoney Creek Centre in a quest to achieve their personal fitness goals in the City’s best-known fun race. This year’s 3 km run is staged over a very flat course. The 8 km run, on the other hand, is rated more difficult, not only because of the extra distance, but also due to a challenging hill situated approximately at the mid-way point of the scenic valley. Kids will also find satisfaction with this year’s opportunity – they will have a chance to do their best over 1 km. Spectators are welcome. Viewing from the comfort of Stoney Creek Centre will be excellent regardless of the weather. For more information refer to www.camroserunning.ca
