The Camrose Railway Museum and Park is a wonderful tourist destination for people of all ages. With each passing year, an increasing number of visitors from beyond the local trading area are enjoying this walk into times gone by. The wonderful station gardens and vintage railway industry memorabilia are of great appeal to the older generation. Kids are drawn like a magnet to the Children’s Secret Garden which features a sandbox, large wooden play-train and dress up clothes. The Morgan Memorial Station Garden is popular with every age group but new additions this year, James and Percy, friends of Thomas the Tank Engine which pulled into the station last year, plus the Troublesome Trucks, are creating a real buzz amongst young train buffs. On special occasions and select days, Thomas and his friends will be seen rounding the 250 feet of G scale track at the Railway Museum. The Camrose Railway Museum and Park, plus the White Elephant Gift Shop, is open for the season each Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Station Café, an eatery definitely not to be missed, is open Saturdays for the season from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
