Courtney Zimmer puts the finishing touches on this Christmas drawing under the watchful eye of her best friend, Shaconna Reinke.
Students studying art, under the direction of Kristy Brown at Our Lady of Mount Pleasant School were invaluable in producing this Christmas edition of The Camrose Booster. We challenged them to use their imagination and skill to draw scenes meaningful to the Christian holiday. The student-artists took on the project with eagerness and complete cooperation. Every drawing which was relayed back to our office was of usable quality and we regret not being able to publish every one of their creative achievements. You will spot the students’ artwork in numerous ads in this issue. To Rural Homes These messages are placed by business people who rely on our publication as a With Booster vehicle to convey thanks and appreciation to clients and patrons.

Special thanks go out to one of the artists at OLMP – Courtney Zimmer. The grade nine student, who cherishes the wonder of Christmas, drew the special piece shown above. Her sketch depicts the Magi (Three Wise Men) bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to baby Jesus. We hope this week’s issue warms your heart and brightens your holiday.
