Lisa Kozak penned this touching Remembrance Day poem. She shares it with local Royal Canadian Legion members: Tom Coultis, Kaethi Riexinger and Regnar Gislason.

Remembrance Day is Monday, Nov. 11 A great way to honor and observe the overwhelming sacrifice of our country’s military veterans and their dependents is to pay tribute on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Take time from shopping, housework and recreational and leisure activities on this day so those who fought and the many who died fighting for our future freedom are never forgotten. Please support the Royal Canadian Legion’s annual Poppy Campaign and wear your poppy this week with pride.
