Prairie Fun Days, an annual event, is a unique and rewarding way to spend a weekend in the country. On Saturday, August 24 you are invited to explore the first batch of 25 exceptional locations in the northern zone of Camrose County. Experience plenty of pleasant surprises as you enjoy the tranquility of a self-guided driving excursion. One day later, on Sunday, your drive will take you to equally interesting locations in the southern portion of the County. Your travels will take you to special activities and scrumptious goodies all weekend. You are guaranteed to experience downhome hospitality. And this year, for the first time ever, during

Prairie Fun Days, you will be amazed by the hay bale art you will pass as you complete the route. Clearly, imaginations have been working overtime considering the masterpieces which have been created out of miscellaneous odds and ends and which are ultimately attached and sitting on or under square and round bales of hay, straw and green-feed. There is more than pride up for grabs in the Havin’ a Hay Day contest, title sponsor UFA. Some serious prizes for the best work will be won and there is still time to enter, if you desire! For more details on Prairie Fun Days or the hay bale art contest, visit Facebook or contact the Camrose Railway Station.
