All product collected will be donated to young student moms or couples, who are financially strapped. Recipients of the donated goods must be aged 15-24, and can be single or married. They must be one of the 23 students enrolled in a one or two year high school studies completion program at the Learning Together Outreach School, at Chester Ronning School. The Rotary Interact Club is made up of CCHS students eager to give back to the community. Club members are the same age or often a few years younger than the young moms (or dads) they are assisting with this program. Students came up with the idea of a diaper drive after openly chatting about how difficult it must be to feed, clothe and take care of a baby, considering a student’s limited ability to make money. Disposable diapers can be left at Camrose churches and pharmacy outlets. For more information contact Rotary Interact Club President Rachel Woods, 780-781-6499 or Club Vice-President Bryce Thomsen, 780-678-6028.
