The Perry Rise Collection exclusively designed by 2 Lovely Gays for Graham & Brown

Graham & Brown is delighted to be working with interior design studio, 2 Lovely Gays, to create its first collaborative wallcoverings range - the Perry Rise collection. The range features four new exclusive designs - Totem, Wonder, Joy, Rebecca all synonymous with 2 Lovely Gays’ signature use of colour, with one eye on the past and one on the future.

The collection launches during Graham & Brown’s seventieth anniversary and marks a celebratory year of championing pattern and print in the home. Named after and inspired by the designers’ Victorian home renovation, the collection delves into Graham & Brown’s extensive archive and features four striking colourways across the four designs created not only to adorn walls but ceilings too. The on-trend colour palette - including Jade Green, Blush, Grey and Blue - mixes moiré textures and marquetry inspired geometrics with broad diagonal stripes and a rose garland floral.

Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead said of the collaboration, “When Graham & Brown approached us we jumped at the opportunity. Graham & Brown is a leader at what it does and, as we’ve found out, is great fun to work with too. We wanted to bring a contemporary twist to what might be perceived as traditional archive designs.

We are passionate about the idea that great interior design can change your life, and when it comes to decorating walls we wanted to showcase how pattern doesn’t needed to be a singular statement - there are four walls and a ceiling to play with.”

Totem

A contemporary reinterpretation of a classic damask combining elements of eight designs from Graham & Brown’s rich archive with more personal references from the designers. Jordan and Russell created a totem of eclectic elements from different periods in the history of wallpaper and gave it a digital twist. Fine detail and a large pattern repeat represents different time periods.

Joy

Bold floral patterns have always been an important part of Graham & Brown’s history and Joy features a garland design creating a contemporary style. Pulling roses from the archive to display many different techniques within one joyful design, the background of a broad diagonal moirÊ silk texture gives modern impact to any interior and allows the design to be interpreted in many different ways. The design can be hung either with an organically offset non pattern repeat or by using the pattern match to create large diagonal stripes around the room.

Rebecca

This broad diagonal stripe is a new twist on a classic with a moirĂŠ silk texture adding elegance to the design. Rebecca works both as a standalone statement stripe and a complementing pattern to the Joy design providing a muted yet bold backdrop to its statement florals.

Wonder

A digital take on a classic geometric: inspired by an archive Superfresco design and based on the shape of the vintage etched mirror from Jordan and Russell’s first home creates an evocative impact. This design works as a complementing plain to other designs within the collection, and equally well in its own right.
