Staying in Touch
It is very important that your son receives mail throughout the summer. This is especially vital in helping new campers adjust to camp. We advise families to send the first letter several days before their son’s arrival at Winaukee. Please do not write letters that dwell on events at home, as they might make your son homesick. Write positively about your son’s Winaukee experience and ask questions about things you know they enjoy. We encourage campers to write home twice a week. We urge all families to send stamped/addressed envelopes, additional stamps and cards or paper with their sons to camp.

We will be using an online system through your MYWINAUKEE account for phone call sign-ups once again this summer. You will receive an email prior to camp letting you know when the system is live. Parents/Guardians have the option to schedule TWO phone calls in the first 4 weeks of camp, and ONE phone call during the final 3 weeks.
