Game Day at Tiger Stadium When college football season rolls around, there’s nothing like catching a game at Tiger Stadium to cheer on the Tigers! The stadium opened in 1924 and has been the proud home of championship teams and legions of devoted fans who fill the arena to the brim, which can seat more than 100,000 people. Tickets are coveted, but if you’re a student at Louisiana State University, chances are you can snag a seat — and don’t forget to include some tailgating fun! For more details, visit lsusports.net
Up Fore a Challenge? Legendary golfer Greg Norman said, “Happiness is a long walk with a putter.” When the weather is stellar, how about a round of happiness with friends? Baton Rouge has a number of courses for you to enjoy, including a course located on the LSU campus that offers 18 holes, a clubhouse, a putting green, and a driving range. If you’re looking to join a private club, check out The University Club located a short distance from LSU — a 7,700yard, par-72 championship course.
