Rabbi Eytan Kenter, Director
It is such an honor to be completing my first year as director of this amazing camp. The team that I am privileged to work with on a daily basis is outstanding and the program and staff we have planned for this summer will be incredible. This past year has been a time of transition, not only with my starting in this new role last June, but with a number of new staff joining our veterans in the office. We spent much of this past year building out the foundation for what will continue to be a superlative camp for generations to come. As we look back on the year that was, we are enthusiastically preparing for all that is yet to unfold. Thank you for accompanying us on this journey.
Gesher planned and organized an incredible Yom Sport - day of competition that’s a great opportunity for intra-edah activities and bonding. The machaneh was divided into four teams with a “Toy Story” theme. In addition to sports and trivia, some chanichim dedicated their day to perfecting their lip-sync skills while others painted awesome banners.
A-Side chanichim learned about nature and the benefits of sustainability firsthand at Farm Fest ‘23. With everything from bee-keeping and composting to seasonal harvesting and farm-to-table cooking, campers were able to enjoy all the wonders our farm program has to offer. Throw in facepainting and great music and it was an unforgettable experience for all!
It took place on July 2, but that didn’t matter. Our live band entertained the campers in what’s become an annual tradition so big, we had to split it into two shows! And getting dressed up is always the best part.
“My camper feels the biggest part of Camp is how wonderful it is to socialize and make new friends, and getting to try out new things.”
- 2023 Camp Parent (from summer 2023 parent survey)
Our newest bechira (elective) this summer was eveybody’s favorite
It was the must-play sport of the season! PICKLEBALL.
This kayitz, as part of our Animal Care program, we welcomed two Taylor and Swift! They were a crowd favorite and two lucky Camp families adopted them at the end of summer.

Musician/composer
