Theyear2024wasfullofgrowthandprogress,whilecontinuingto makealife-changingdifferenceforIdahochildrenandfamiliesfacing cancerandothermedicalchallenges.

Throughcampsandotherprogramming,CampRainbowGold impacted345programparticipants.Ofthose,32familymembers werenewtoCampRainbowGoldprogramming.

Volunteersshowedupinremarkablenumbers,donatingmorethan 15,145hours.Survivorssupportedoneanotherthroughshared experiences,andscholarshiprecipientsmovedclosertotheir educationalgoals.

Inaddition,CampRainbowGolds’permanenthome,HiddenParadise alsoIdaho’sonlymedicalcamp wentthroughahuge transformation,withnewamenitiesandinfrastructure.Hidden Paradisenowhasthecapacitytohostupto200campers.

Thesitehasallnewinfrastructure,includingmajorupgradestothewater,septic,and powersystems

Amulti-roomedmedicalfacility,lovinglycalledthe“MedShack,”wasbuilt;furnishings weredonatedbySaintAl’sandStLuke’s.StLuke’sstockeditwithallbasicsupplies. BlackrockbuiltsixnewADA-accessiblecabins,whichwereusedforsummercamp. Wereceived34applications,18fromoncologycampersand16fromsiblings, forthecollegescholarships.Weawarded$57,882total,14totheoncology applicantsand10tothesiblingapplicants.

Children’sOncologyCamping Association(COCA)didasite visitoverthesummer COCA, whichfocusesonthemedical aspectofoncologycamps,was impressedwithCampRainbow Gold’sprotocolsandexperience. TheylovedournewMedical Building(knownastheMed Shack)!
