Celebrating 40 Years of CAMP Together In 1979, three doctors had a vision to create a place where all individuals, regardless of their disability or medical diagnosis, could enjoy traditional camp activities, and where we could come to discover our Maximum Potential. In 2019, we celebrate the 40th year of CAMP’s legacy! Throughout the new year, look for posts on social media that link back to our webpage showcasing historic pictures and sharing our story. While our clothing may have changed, and maybe our hairstyles too… CAMP’s mission is still the same after all these amazing years. We look forward to experiencing the next 40 years with all of you!
CAMP’s New Facilities Construction of three new buildings continues at CAMP: Healthcare Center, Arts & Crafts Pavilion, and camper cabin. Experienced volunteers are needed for all programs, but especially the Respite Weekend CAMPS. Sign up early, and remember‌ the more volunteer support we have, the more Campers we can serve!

During this time of celebration and giving we here at CAMP have so much to be thankful for. Our amazing campers and their families, our volunteers and seasonal staff who give so much of themselves, and our incredible donors who ensure we can continue our mission. But sometimes it is the ones who we are closest to who we forget to say thank you to. CAMP has a tenacious, hard-working, dedicated, and talented year-round staff who work tirelessly – and much of the work is behind the scenes with little recognition. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Ken and I would like to say THANK YOU to our Family Support team – Michelle, Chris, Amanda, and Perla; our Development team – Dianna, Lauren, Regina, and Nancy; our Volunteer and Administration team – Sarah, Stephanie, Pat, Paula, Tom, and Adrian; and our Camping team – Brandon, Jordan, Ken, Mason, and Bill.
