Bexarfest 2020 Benefits CAMP! There is only one multimedia festival in the United States where high school students are partnered with nonprofit organizations to create original media for community service agencies to use in their volunteer recruitment and fundraising campaigns‌ Bexarfest! Since 2017, Bexarfest, formerly the Bexar County High School Film Festival, has paired high school media production teams with local nonprofit organizations to create short, mission-focused videos for nonprofits to use in their community outreach efforts. In just three years, Bexarfest has hosted more than 1,000 high school students from 50 public and private schools in 21 school districts across seven countries who have created videos for 76 nonprofits serving every segment of our community – including CAMP! This year, CAMP was paired with Lytle High School to create a volunteer counselor recruitment video and other media. The video documents the process of becoming a CAMP volunteer from start to finish. CAMP is very thankful to the students and faculty at Lytle high school for gifting this amazing video to CAMP and are very proud of the time and talent that went into this production. This tool will be used to help recruit a new generation of volunteers, making an even bigger impact on CAMP for years to come! What is better than a good burger? Well...eating a GREAT burger at hopdoddy and knowing that 20% of your bill will be donated back to CAMP sure is! Join CAMP at any of the nine hopdoddy locations in the San Antonio and Austin areas on Tuesday, May 12 from 5-9 PM. Everyone who says they are there for “CAMP” (when checking out) will ensure we are gifted with 20% of your total bill. All money raised will help CAMP build a new “Giant Swing”. This new element is just one more way we are elevating outdoor experiences at CAMP.

All of CAMP’s staff have summer on our mind as we process applications, begin hiring, and put programming ideas together for a fabulous summer of: “Camp CAMP 2020 Summer Music Festival”! Everyone who comes to Camp CAMP for a session must have a complete application. Keep in mind that only complete applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until spaces are filled. If any required paperwork or information is missing before a session fills, your application may be placed on the wait list.
