On behalf of the Board of Directors and year-round staff at CAMP, we extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for your support in 2023!
It was an incredible year for CAMP with summer camper enrollment exceeding that of the past three years Behind this achievement are the incredible efforts of hundreds of volunteers who collectively donated an impressive 140,634 service hours
Your support sustains this year-round programming for campers, provides teens and young adults with valuable leadership development, empowers healthcare professionals through handson training, and offers much-needed respite for parents and caregivers.
Looking ahead to 2024, we are thrilled about the adventures promised by another new year! The theme for this summer will be "Vivre le CAMP!” Olympic Games, and our team is busy planning the best opportunities for those we serve.
Thank you for your belief in our mission! Because of you, our campers are experiencing life without being defined by their disabilities

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing directly over Camp CAMP, located in Center Point, Texas This is the last total solar eclipse that will be viewable from North America this century. CAMP will experience one of the longest periods of total darkness in the state and we are excited to share it with the public!
A total solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the sun and earth, completely blocking the face of the sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. This is a once-in-ageneration opportunity not to be missed.
The last eclipse across America occurred in 2017 affecting a number of communities along the path of totality. These towns experienced a massive visitor surge with some communities welcoming up to 100,000 people.

A limited number of day passes will be sold to the CAMP family and public. Tickets are $100 for adults and $50 for children (12 and younger) and include entrance onto CAMP's property, glasses to safely view the event, access to planned activities throughout the day, and more. Please note that CAMP will sell optional breakfast, lunch, and snacks during the event. Don't miss the 2024 Total Eclipse at CAMP!
