Volunteers Needed! Did you know that CAMP takes place yearround? During the school year, CAMP hosts monthly programming that includes Parent’s Night Out (PNO), Teen and Adult Day Adventure (TADA), and Respite Weekend Camps.

We Celebrated CAMP Style by bringing down a building! The last day of summer camp is always bittersweet, but this year we had more to reflect on and even more to celebrate! On August 10th, campers, volunteers, families, staff, and donors came together to help bring down the old and clear a path to a new chapter in CAMP’s history. The day started with a celebration of the completion of The More Than A CAMP capital campaign, a reveal of the new Health Care Center, Camper Cabin, and Arts & Craft Center. A groundbreaking celebration would not be complete without shovels, buckets, hard hats and dirt, but we took it one step farther, enlisting everyone there to help bring down the old Archery Pavilion! We look forward to celebrating again in May when we reveal the completion of the new buildings. We will post progress of the construction regularly on our website and announce the Dedication Ceremony date in April. Thank you to all of you who made this dream a reality!

Amazing m e mories Throughout the Summer of 2018, Campers enjoyed the sights, sounds, and action of the Camp CAMP Arcade! A HUGE THANK YOU to our Health Care volunteers, the incredible volunteers counselors, and the seasonal staff who ensured the success of the summer. Without you, campers would not have the opportunity to experience their maximum potential. What was the very best part of the summer? Meeting up with our friends – our campers – where we got to swim, canoe, enjoy archery, and hang out with our favorite friends in our favorite place! What could be more fun?

Thanks to your incredible support, the 10th Annual Starry Night CAMP Gala raised
$203,300! Because of you, families experience CAMP together, teens are expertly trained to be volunteer counselors, campers paddle a canoe for the first time, teens and adults enjoy social activities, and parents receive a much needed break. For parents and caregivers of children and adults with special needs, this means the world to them, and you mean the world to us!
