Program Committee Report

The Annual Meeting was held on June 18. Twenty one members joined to elect new members of the board and discuss the 2021 year of operation.

All Friends Reunion Weekend was held August 18-22, separated for the first time from the Annual Meeting. With that we were able to offer some programming and introduced the first run of the "Golden Paddle". Holding close to our traditions, another successful Silent Auction was held Saturday evening with 48 alum attending.

Women's Weekend was a success with 51 attendees September 7-11. We successfully hosted the Saturday night banquet, added new workshops to the mix and welcomed back Caity Gallagher for another wonderful performance.

On November 4 we hosted our first annual 'Wishes on the Water" Gala. We had 108 attendees and honored our seven founding board members.

Governance and Nominating

In June and July of 2022, Governance and Nominating Committee worked to find board members to create a slate for the 2022-2024 board.

We gained 5 new BOD members - Christine Brooks, Andrea Dobo, Betty Fuller, Sara Fuller, and Janet Strominger.

We aided the ED in making sure our Whistleblower Policy and Record Retention and Destruction Policy were in compliance with current requirements.

We continued trying to update the bylaws and refining the board application and candidacy process. In addition to needing someone to serve as treasurer we want to identify and engage candidates with a diversity of skills and life experiences.
