KINIYA STAFF HOUSING PROJECT Filling Kiniya’s Long-Term Staff Housing Needs Since 2006, we have invested in upgrades to Kiniya’s facilities, rightfully prioritizing infrastructure first, camper cabins second, and major buildings third. Finally, we turn our focus to staff housing. After months of planning, the Kiniya Staff Housing Project is underway, with the acquisition of a staff house and the construction of the first of five cabins completed in time for summer 2023! This initiative in improving and expanding staff housing is a critical part of a comprehensive strategy that will meet Kiniya’s long-term recruiting needs. STAFF VILLAGE

939 KINIYA ROAD

Located on Kiniya’s upper campus level, new staff cabins will make it possible for Kiniya to attract and retain a senior team of professionals. These individuals will continue to add leadership, depth, continuity, and a more mature perspective to our programs and operations. Once completed, the five cabins will complete our Staff Village.

Additionally, the acquisition of a house on Camp Kiniya Road during Fall 2022 moved us a step closer to meeting our long-term housing needs. We were able to take advantage of a rare opportunity to purchase this single-family home within walking distance Kiniya’s main campus.

The complete Kiniya Staff Housing Project represents a $1M investment in facilities and infrastructure. This exciting project has become a reality with the support of faithful friends who know the value of attracting and retaining high-caliber staff.

WHERE WE STAND Fulfilling Kiniya’s long-term housing goals and completing the Staff Village is an important strategic step for the next generation of campers. Progress is underway.

STAFF VILLAGE

Following an extensive archeological survey, and permitting process, the entire infrastructure of the Staff Village has been completed. The first cabin was funded, constructed and occupied by summer 2023.

A second cabin has been pledged and is anticipated to be in place for summer 2024.

Funding opportunities for three remaining cabins are available.

Purchased in the Fall of 2022, renovations were made to this two-bedroom year-round home to include a fully finished basement with two additional bedrooms, ready in time for summer 2023 use.

Our challenge is to fully-fund the Kiniya Staff Housing Project as quickly as possible.

Naming opportunities exist for gifts at the $100,000 level. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and will be essential to ensure the rapid completion of this initiative.
