THE FERN AND THE BAMBOO

One day I decided to give up...I quit my job, my relationship to my life. I went to the forest to talk to an old man who said he was very wise. "Could you give me one good reason not to give up?" But I did not give up bamboo. -In the fifth year a small bamboo shoot appeared on the ground. In Compared to the fern it was apparently very small and insignificant. -The sixth year, the bamboo grew more than 20 meters height. It had spent five years putting down roots to sustain it. Those roots made him strong and gave him what he needed to survive. -Did you know that all this time you've been fighting, you've really been putting down roots?
