KEY CONCEPTS: HUMILITY SBN Mary Cayte Reiland

martial artists? , to be dissonant with the social nucleus, to be discordant figures that provoke reflection. It is not up to us to be a movement of renewal or applause, training costs, it comes from rebellion and reflection, that is why it is cathartic to have true artists, those who with romanticism and rebellion build inside and outside the dojos, or else become the artist of our work, with the help of teachers who evolve, who walk by your side and not covering you with their cloak, let's put aside a little that of "exemplary teachers" and move on to great teachers. The word example gives me chills, I am not an example of anything nor do I want to be, one of the things that drove me to be a martial artist for life was self-knowledge for freedom, but by becoming an example you become a slave to the demand for the others, for that very reason the word example makes me sting, our role is to teach the technique, polish its execution and from the philosophical side call for thought and reflection, break the status quo, free them from themselves; people have the right to make mistakes and recognize, besides, with fists and reflections, kicks and ideas, you will form yourself. Formation is painful and an internal process, formation is perennial, we are all in constant formation, knowing that if you move in the dark, how and with what sense would you say that you are already formed and have reached the light? Seriously, others are worth less than me? Outside the world of martial arts we can find impressive people and we also learn from them, martial arts are not the great transformer of humanity, although before they were, that generation so vital, strong and transformative of itself and its environment had its historical moment, now it is our turn to live this moment, we are martial artists from another time, now there are no longer kings or shoguns, you do not have to hide because they assassinate you, nor do you push a world project of a new vision, now it is worth it fight from microcosms unified by leaders united for good purposes, fight against your own dogmas in order to have weapons loaded with virtues, you will not be able to fight without them without discovering your dark side, those weapons are in the past, in constant practice, in good teacher who explains beyond physical movements to spiritual trajectories, there you live and revive the symbol, it is the therapeutic side of martial arts, it is the ritual al but not as a catechism. We need to resume the discipline of growing, through processes without constant interruptions, putting aside sterile struggles and empty battles, the true weapon of the teacher is transmutation, not presumptuous denial, life eats itself and does not wait for you, it is an illusion and a process of construction, destruction and renewal, the life that dies gives life to a new one. You know what you spend the most precious thing you have. It is how much.
