If a picture is worth a thousand words, our environments speak volumes. It is the task of design to ensure those words are clear and well-intentioned.

Lounge Area + History Wall In a rapidly growing culture of craft breweries across North Carolina, Oden Brewing wanted to stand out. The brewery is located in the client's grandfather's old bottling plant. The design arose from a marriage between the client's unique family name and rich history of the site. The design focuses on establishing an historic and communal atmosphere to be enjoyed by the community for years to come.

The historic heart of the small town of Troy, NC, the Hotel Troy was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. The owner's vision is to rehabilitate the hotel and revitalize the local town spirit. More than anything, they wanted the historic significance of the building put on display while also updating the site to appeal to young residents and visitors stopping on their way to adventure in the Uwharrie national forest.
