Four Cameron students were recently honored as being “Outstanding Aggies of Tomorrow.” Ashley Del Ciello, Michael Faggett, Amanda Finch and Wyatt Kennedy were all awarded the “Outstanding Aggie of Tomorrow Award” during the university’s annual Aggie Friends and Family Awards Brunch on Feb. 20. The award recognizes four outstanding junior and senior students a year who have excelled in their programs and extracurricular activities. “I was definitely surprised,” said Ashley Del Ciello, a junior Public Relations major who is a twotime president of the Aggie Ambassadors. “It takes quite a bit of hard work,” Del Ciello, who is considering getting a Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas, said. “It helps you to grow up and learn how to live life.” Del Ciello is a recipient of the President’s Partner Scholarship and a volunteer member of the Programming Activities Council. She has worked as a student teacher at

Cameron’s Introduction to University Life course and has served as an Aggie Escape student mentor. Michael Faggett, a Radio and Television Broadcasting major and member of The Collegian staff, says winning the award put everything he’s done into perspective.
