Quiet Desperation Cameron Barke

I am going to keep this short and sweet. It is a known fact that we are a product of our choices. The decisions we make every day add up to our character. Success, is just abunch of small things done greatly over a period of time. (most forget the latter, it takes time). Tony Robbins speaks quite often on the subject of habits, and rituals. His theory is that we are a product of the rituals we create for ourselves. A body builder, for example, will have different rituals as to someone who is obese. A figure skater, has different rituals than a computer technician. A multi-millionaire has different rituals in his life than broke uncle Bob… You can normally tell peoples rituals just by taking a look at them. One of the rituals I have set-up for myself, is a self-development strategy to work on expanding my self-awareness. I have spent many years doing this, and it lead me to this ritual I am going to share with you. I believe that motivation is like taking a bath/shower – we should be doing it atleast once a day. I believe that reading is like eating, you don’t just eat one meal a month – you have to FEED your mind, just as you FEED your body. I have made a habit, through my rituals, to listen to a motivational piece of information every day. Whether it is in the form of a self-help audio, a speech, or a compilation mix of speakers in a conference. I use this as a weapon in my self-development arsenal daily. Recently, I came across a really awesome compilation video I am wanting to share with you.
